Prep Baseball INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Prep Baseball internship provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to learn and enhance their skills in a variety of areas surrounding the game of baseball. Scouting is our forte, and while there are many opportunities to learn scouting and scouting terminology we also provide opportunities for sports marketing and sports journalism, while also receiving a platform in which interns can network with individuals from the scouting and college recruiting community. This internship will involve coverage of mostly Florida prospects but also may be involved in some national projects.
SCOUTING/OPERATIONS INTERN
If you are looking to break into the scouting community and learn the ropes from one of our seasoned PBR scouts, then this internship is for you. Ideal candidates are looking to complete an internship and already have experience and working knowledge in the game of baseball.
Start Dates: Open
Location: All over Florida. Ability to not only work from home but on the road as well at various events.
Primary Responsibilities: As a Scouting/Operations Intern, you would learn the day-to-day life of a Prep Baseball scout. From pre-event to post-event, you would learn how to run and operate a showcase. You'll learn about scouting, Trackman, Blast, and more of the tech partners we use daily. Scouting/Operations Interns will learn and experience every aspect of a Prep Baseball event including scouting, analytics, video, social media, event operation, and much more

SOCIAL MEDIA/MARKETING INTERN

Internship Description:
We are looking for a motivated individual to help with the coordination and execution of social media and email marketing campaigns. Desired candidate will work closely with current staff on a strategy for Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The position will also design and execute email marketing campaigns using InFusionsoft software
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement a weekly social media marketing plan
+ Manage social media at select Prep Baseball Showcases and Tournaments
+ Design and execute various email marketing campaigns
Requirements:
+ Must be able to reside and have reliable transportation around Florida throughout the duration of the internship
+ Strong writing and compositional skills
Desired Qualifications
+ Previous experience in marketing or social media
+ Experience with Canva or Photoshop
+ General knowledge of baseball
+ Currently working towards a degree is business, marketing, or sports management

BASEBALL JOURNALIST ASSISTANT
We are seeking qualified journalism students. It is required that the candidates have strong writing and compositional skills, and ability to meet deadlines and a strong understanding of the game of baseball.
Start Dates: Open
Location: All over Florida. Ability to not only work from home, but on the road as well at various events.
Primary responsibilities:
• Write feature stories to be posted on the site's website.
• Write press releases providing details of events to be distributed to the local media.
• Provide administrative assistance, including but not limited to data entry and web research.
• Game and events coverage, composing recap stories.

VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN
We are seeking qualified students in film and videography who look to further a career in digital media. Qualified candidates would be responsible for video of Prep Baseball showcase events, editing work and the creative initiative to produce promotional digital media.

Location: All over Florida. Ability to not only work from home, but on the road as well at various events.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Operate video cameras at showcase events
+ Take and edit pictures
