Why: To identify the top players in the State of Indiana
Where: Lawrence North HS
Last year’s talent at the Underclass Invitational was incredible; we hope to continue that tradition with talented players such as yourself. Most of the top players at the Underclass Invitational last year are now ranked among the top in their respective class. Not only will you receive high-level exposure, but your performance at the event will be videotaped and hosted on PrepBaseballReport.com, which is subscribed to by more than 230 colleges and pro scouts across the country. Furthermore, the top players will be listed in our statewide player rankings in our print magazine and website. Players will also have an online profile created. Since our inception in 2008, the Prep Baseball Report has become the authoritative voice of Indiana high school baseball. Our website has developed into the ultimate promotional vehicle for players.
Check-In (Outfielders and Infielders): 8:30-9:00 am
Introduction/Stretch/Timed 60s: 9:00-10:00 am
Fielding Evaluations (Outfield then Infield): 10:00-12:00 pm
Hitting Evaluations (Live BP/Exit Velos): 12:00-1:30 pm
Check-In (Catchers): 1:00-1:30 pm
Introduction/Stretch/Timed 60s: 1:30-2:00 pm
Fielding Evaluations: 2:00-2:30 pm
Hitting Evaluations (Live BP/Exit Velos): 2:30-3:00 pm
Check-In (Pitchers): 2:30-3:00 pm
Pitcher Evaluations: 3:00-5:00 pm
Other Notes:
-Catchers will need to stay to catch pitcher bullpens.
-Outfielders and Infielders that also pitch can leave for lunch after they complete hitting, but need to be back no later than 2:30.
-Even though the showcase is indoors players need to wear pants (preferably baseball pants, DO NOT WEAR SHORTS). Also please wear a hat.
