With great pleasure, we bring to you Prep Baseball Report Arkansas. Our mission in Arkansas mirrors that of other state-specific coverage: to provide the most comprehensive in-state information, to promote high school baseball and, ultimately help Arkansas prep athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level. Our goal is to be the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in Arkansas.

Although it will take some time to achieve the status of our other 17 states, we are certain we have the right person to thoroughly, accurately and honestly cover Arkansas:

Zac Bottoms.

Bottoms’ roots are firmly entrenched in Arkansas. For the last five years, Bottoms coached at Arkansas Baptist College, a Little Rock-based junior college that he helped build from scratch. The program originated in 2008, and Bottoms, who served as the recruiting coordinator and pitching coach, began his tenure there from 2009-2014. During his time at Arkansas Baptist, Bottoms helped 21 players advance to the Division 1 level, and 43 more to the Division 2 or NAIA levels.

While coaching at Arkansas Baptist, Bottoms also served as an associate scout for the Kansas City Royals. After graduating from Greenland HS, Bottoms went on to pitch at Mid-America Christian University. Bottoms finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, where he served as student manager under the tutelage of head coach Dave Van Horn.  While at Arkansas, the Razorbacks advanced to the College World Series in 2009.

Now Bottoms will bring his baseball experiences and connections to Arkansas’ prep baseball scene. Bottoms will work tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information Arkansas has ever seen and provide coverage to all corners of the state. But he can’t do it alone. Arkansas events are already set up at top-flight venues across the state. Prep Baseball Report events are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to advance to the next level. Not only will players receive high-level exposure from college coaches, but all players at events will be videotaped, and the edited performance will be hosted online. All players’ profiles, verified statistics and scouting reports can be searched in our expansive player database.

Our flagship state, Prep Baseball Report Illinois, was launched in 2005. Over the last 10 years, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into the authoritative voice of high school baseball in Illinois. More than 450 colleges and pro scouts now subscribe to the Prep Baseball Report multimedia services. Over the years, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state we are in.
