Below are a few of the top unsigned prospects in Arizona's 2018 class.  If you are an unsigned prospect still looking for a place to play there is no reason to worry.  Plenty of programs at all levels are still looking to fill their 2018 class and have been in touch with PBR about potential prospects. PBR is hosting an Unsigned Senior Showcase on Sunday, October 22 at Yavapai College.  Register today and #BeSeen. As always contact [email protected] or @PBRArizona on Twitter with any questions.

Isaiah Montoya LHP / Liberty, AZ / 2018

Shows advanced command of his fastball to both sides of plate. Dominates inner half against RHH. Best secondary pitch is changeup that features great arm speed and some tumbling action.  Developing breaking ball that shows inconsistent rotation. Aggressive delivery that has produced a velo jump at times this fall.

Jack Silverman 1B / C / Desert Mountain, AZ / 2018

Big thick frame looked every bit of listed 6'2 210. Displayed impressive combination of raw power and bat speed in BP. Limited looks in game. Showed well behind the plate and has a chance to stick there or play 1B at the next level.

Troy Balko RHP / Sunrise Mountain , AZ / 2018

6-foot-3, physically very immature, lots of room to get stronger and add velo.  Worked 83-87 with his fastball and generally commanded it in the zone.  Slider was best pitch and showed good tilt and depth at 77 mph.

Jake Jarvis

OF / Basha, AZ / 2018

Athletic build, high waist. Hard line drive contact in BP. Some stiffness in swing, slight arm bar.  Barreled ball to all fields in game against high-level pitching. Solid athlete ran 4.57 on a turn at less than full speed.
