4A District Bracket and Players to Watch

4A DISTRICT PREVIEW

It is tournament time in Colorado and all classifications will be underway this weekend with District and State Tournament play.  Continuing our look at post season play is the 4A classification where it is wide open for many of the teams in this year's field, with 9 of the 32 teams in the field having at least 15 wins on the season. All teams are playing a single elimination tournament on Saturday with all District Championship Games being played at the host sites at 3:00 PM.


District 1
No. 1 Mountain View 17-2 vs. No. 32 Roosevelt 10-9

Stats that Standout:

Billy Cook led 4A with a .629 average collecting 39 hits.

Paul Tillotson had 8 wins on the season and collected 79 strike outs.

Cole Winn enters the post season with 78 K’s in 46 innings pitched.

As Damon Jensen goes so does Delta, his 36 runs scored lead the way.

Jacob Bedford, Bryan Boatman and Mark Singleton all bring 1 no-hitter with them into the post season.
