The 2017 Colorado High School season is underway.  Here is a look at yesterday's action from around the state.

Daily Roundup:

Cherokee Trail 10 Canyon del Oro 8
Cherokee Trail had 13 hits and beat Canyon del Oro in the Horizon Tourney in Arizona.  The Cougars were led by, Eric Cox, 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and 2 runs, Jake Erredge, 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, and Ethan Leisge who was 2 for 4 and scoring 2 runs.

Highlands Ranch 9 Broomfield 8
The Falcons beat #4 Broomfield on Wednesday.  Jordan Medina, went 2 for 3 scoring 2 runs, knocking in 3 RBI’s with a HR, and Justin Friedman, went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s. Broomfield was led by James Notary, who went 1 for 3 scoring 2 runs and 2 RBI’s and Matt Turner who went 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 runs.

Bear Creek 7 Mullen 4
Bear Creek scored in every inning besides the 1st, in their home victory over the Mullen Mustangs.  Mullen’s Rocco Porreco, went 1 for 3 driving in 3 runs for the Mustangs.

Legend 11 Dakota Ridge 0
Legend scored 5 in the 1st and another 6 in the 4th to win their home game over Dakota Ridge. Legend’s Troy Lincavage, had a great game going 2 for 3 with a HR and driving in 4 runs, and pitcher Tommy Drury, went 4 innings allowing only 1 hit.

Horizon 11 Kennedy 1
The Hawks get the victory and were led by Daniel Moore who went 2-3 with 3 RBI.

Heritage 10 Westminster 0
Riley Egloff led the way for the Eagles going 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI and going 5 innings on the mound giving up 1 hit and collecting 7 K’s.
