The PBR Colorado Staff is putting together a series of players to watch for 2015. These players are not ranked in any particular order. We will be adding a player or two a day over the next 2 months. The next player in the series is utility player Evan Finley from Peyton High School.

Evan Finley
Finley is a 5-foot-10, 165-pounder who is a versatile player. As a sophomore, he pitched, caught and played the infield for Peyton, which reached the quarterfinals of the Class 2A State Championships in Pueblo. A two-sport athlete (he also plays football), Finley has leadership ability and is a smart baseball player. He has a solid build with the ability to tack on a couple more inches and a few more pounds. Above average speed and has tremendous power for his size, finishing with 11 doubles, seven triples and three home runs during a 22-game season.

Season highlights:
  
- Was a one-man wrecking crew in a 6-1 win over Calhan. Was 3-for-3 at the plate with two triples, a homer, three runs scored and four RBIs. Also tossed a 3-hitter on the mound.
- Hit .611 on the season, scoring 37 runs with 38 RBIs.
- On the mound, finished with a 5-2 record, 3.61 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 40 2/3 innings.
