By John Cackowski
Director of Scouting

PBR Colorado will be presenting the PBR All-Colorado Team over the course of the next week. Players chosen for the PBR All-Colorado Team are players that not only performed well during the season, helped their team have success on the field, but also were seen in front of the PBR Colorado scouting staff in the form of a past PBR Colorado events or a game. We kicked off the PBR All-Colorado team with the Outfielders ,Catchers, and Corners/DH. Today we continue with the corners/DH

Cody Schultz 1B / RHP / Cherry Creek, CO / 2017

5-fo0t-10, 160 pounds. Bats and throws right. Schultz came up with more big hits in the state in pressure situations for his team as anyone in 2017. The Dixie State commit hit .473 for the Bruins and led his team with 43 runs, 10 doubles, 6 triples, and 12 stolen bases while also contributing 4 homeruns. Also has very impressive skills at shortstop.

Jack Winkler SS / 2B / Chatfield , CO / 2017

6-foot-1, 160 pounds. Bats and throws right.Committed to San Fransicso Winkler was arguably the best offensive player in the Jeffco League hitting .432 and leading his team in 27 runs, 25 RBI's, and 8 homeruns. A starter since his sophomore year, Winkler will leave high school career with 52 career RBI's and 11 homeruns.

Liam Eddy RHP / Brighton, CO / 2017

6-foot-3, 180 pounds. The Wichita State commit did everything a high school player could do to lead his team to a 17-4 overall record in 2017 and is our choice as All PBR Colorado Utility player. Eddy almost was the 5A triple crown winner for the Bulldogs leading the state with 11 homeruns, 43 RBI's, and came in 2nd with a .657 batting average. That also doesn't include what he did for his team on the mound going 6-1 on the mound with a 2.54 ERA. In 49 innings Eddy struck out 72 batters.
