Top Arm Velocities Uncommitted 2017:

Ryan Robinson, Grandview High School, OF/RHP
Arm Velocity: 86

A 6-foot-0, 175-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP who ran a 7.10 60.  At the plate he has a wide balanced stance with a short stride on the pitch.  He shows strong drive with his lower half and good extension out front.  Swing path is flat through the zone with good pull power.  Exit velocity was 92 MPH off the tee.  In the field he glides to the ball and shows max effort on his throws.  He delivers from an over the top arm slot at 86 MPH with accuracy to the bag.  On the mound he is balanced and smooth in his wind up.  He lands in-line with the plate and stays square on his follow through.  Fastball was 84 MPH with good command of both sides of the plate. He also showcased a 67-69 MPH curve with 11/5 break and a 72-73 change.  

Austin Chouinard, Regis Jesuit, 3B/RHP
Arm Velocity: 85

A 6-foot-0 195-pound right hand hitting 3B who ran a 7.50 60.  Simple balanced approach at the plate.  Uses a short stride to get weight moving forward and hits off a firm front side.  Swing path is level through the zone with good extension out front.  Exit velocity was 94 MPH.  In the field he moves well at third base.  Does a nice job of covering the hole.  He has a quick high ¾ release with accuracy.  Arm velocity was 85 MPH.  

Morgan McIntosh, Highlands Ranch High School, 3B/2B
Arm Velocity: 85

A 5-foot-9, 190-pound left hand hitting 3B/2B who ran a 7.30 60.  At the plate he is balanced and square.  Slow load to the back side with his weight before driving through the zone.  Good extension out front creates a 90 MPH exit velocity.  During the live round he showed great bat control to all fields.  In the field he played 3rd base and played it well.  He has a good first step on balls to the backhand side.  He uses quick hands to get rid of the ball and delivers an accurate 85 MPH throw. 

Hunter Parker, Eaglecrest High School, OF/RHP
Arm Velocity: 85

A 6-foot-0, 160-pound right hand hitting outfielder/RHP who ran a 7.31 60.  Balanced at the plate with a toe tap for timing.  Shows good weight transfer on the swing and a level path to the ball.  Good extension out front produced an 84 MPH exit velocity.  In the field he moves well on the ball and attacks forward.  Delivers from an over the top arm angle and showcased an 85 MPH arm.  On the mound he crouches on his delivery and lands in-line with the plate.  Delivers from over the top with good extension out front.  He showcased an 83 MPH fastball with good command away.  He added a 71 MPH 11/5 curve and 71 MPH change.   

Eric Cox, Cherokee Trial High School, OF/RHP
Arm Velocity: 84

A 5-foot-10, 205-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP who ran a 6.90 60.  Starts open at the plate with a slight leg kick and long stride to get even.  Aggressive weight transfer and quick hands with a slightly uphill swing path created balls with good carry to the gaps.  He registered a 95 MPH exit velocity off a tee.  In the field he uses his speed to cut balls down.  He is max effort on his release and delivers an 83 MPH ball with accuracy.  On the mound he gets to balance and rocks back before landing in-line with the plate.  He delivers from a high ¾ arm slot and featured an 81 MPH fastball.  He finished with a 68-69 MPH curve with 11/5 break and a 74-75 MPH change. 

James Kester, Heritage High School, 2B/RHP
Arm Velocity: 84

A 6-foot-0, 180-pound right hand hitting 2B/RHP who ran a 7.60 60.  Narrow, balanced set up at the plate with a high leg kick and long stride on the pitch.  Swing path is uphill with good weight transfer and extension at contact.  Exit velocity was 87 MPH.  In the field he shows good hands and a quick release.  He moved well to his glove side and delivered an accurate 84 MPH ball.  On the mound He stand square and get to balance on his motion.  He lands in-line with the plate but falls off to the right side on delivery.  He showcased 3 pitches with good command of the zone.  His fastball was 79 MPH with good location, he added a 68-69 MPH curve with 11/5 break and a 71-72 MPH change.   

Chase Anderson, Columbine High School, 2B/RHP
Arm Velocity: 83

A 5-foot-10, 170-pound right hand hitting middle infielder who ran a 7.22 60.  In the field he shows good feet and a quick release of the ball.  He throws from a high ¾ arm slot and delivers an accurate 83 MPH ball across the diamond.  At the plate he is balanced with strong lower leg drive through the swing.  The bat travels slightly uphill creating a ball with good carry to the gaps.  Exit velocity was 88 MPH.  

Jimmy Holinger, Regis Jesuit High School, SS/2B
Arm Velocity: 83

A 5-foot-11, 152-pound right hand hitting SS/2B who ran a 7.11 60.  Balanced at the plate with a long stride on the pitch.  Aggressive swing through the zone, slight uphill path with good power to the pull side.  He hits off a firm front side with good extension.  Exit velocity was 93 MPH.  In the field he uses his quickness to cover a lot of ground.  He shows good balance and feet to get into a proper throwing position.  He delivers an accurate ball from a high ¾ arm slot and had an arm velocity of 83 MPH.  

Bradon O’Connor, Legacy High School, OF/2B
Arm Velocity: 83

A 5-foot-10, 153-pound right hand hitting OF/2B who ran a 6.68 60. At the plate he is slightly open with a short stride to get square.  Hands are high in the zone at the start of the swing.  Swing path is slightly uphill with strong rotation at contact.  Exit velocity was 83 MPH off the tee.  Good bat control and lived up the middle during his evaluation round.  In the field he shows smooth actions through the ball.  Release is quick and over the top.  Arm velocity was 83 MPH with accuracy to the bag.
