2016 MIF Paul Benitez of Lake Nona HS has recently committed to the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Benitez was a standout at this summer’s Florida Top Prospect Games as he ran the fastest 60 time (6.76) and tied for the best infield velocity by throwing 85 mph across the diamond.

Benitez stands at 6 foot, 185 pounds with a very athletic, live, and strong body. He is a high energy guy that likes to hustle and shows an aggressive approach at the plate.  Paul is a very physical kid and already possesses average ML raw power. He takes aggressive routes to ball in the infield, attacks ball on defense, and has enough arm to play left side of infield.
