Killian Handles North Port 6-1

SARASOTA-- Killian took on North Port for each teams’ first game of the Sarasota Baseball classic. Killian used an all-around team performance to get the 6-1 win as they were led on the mound by 2015 RHP and Jackson State Signee Frank Follaco who threw five and one-thirds innings and gave up one earned run. At the plate, the Cougars were led by 2015 INF/OF and ASA College Signee Sebastian Gonzalez who hit a 2-run home run, 2016 C/1B and Miami commit Herbert Iser who hit an RBI double, and 2015 INF and Florida Signee Eddy Demurias who hit a solo home run.

Defensively, 2017 SS and Miami commit Freddie Zamora made a number of plays ranging up the middle look very easy with smooth and advanced actions. Killian takes on Venice in the Semi-finals of the tournament.
