Jacksonville,FL- In the first game of the day on the final day of the Tournament of Champions, the Suwannee Bulldogs took on the Calvary Christian Eagles.  Thanks to a first inning home run on the first pitch he saw, Sam McMillan (Florida) would put Suwanee up early and they would never look back.

The Bulldogs would score 7 runs led offensively by Sam McMillan and Houston Morrill (Oklahoma State). McMillan would go 2-3 with a home run, double, walk, hit by pitch and three RBIs on the day.  While Morrill would go 1-1 with three walks, three stolen bases and three runs scored.

Kyle Gamble (Polk St) would shut down the Eagles offense for five innings while striking out eight and allowing two runs on six hits. The lanky lefty has a projectable frame and worked a fastball that ranged from 81-83 mph from a ¾ slot with some whip in the arm action. He also showed a slider at 75-76 and a changeup at 73-74 mph.

Calvary was led by 2020 INF Dante Girardi, son of Yankees manager Joe Girardi, going 2-4 on the day. As well as Christian Scott who was 2-2 with a double and a run scored, but would fall short with runners on base losing 7-2.
