Scouting Report: 01/21/17- Pittsburgh commit. The athletic switch hitting 6-foot-2, 185-pound shortstop has shown a lot of potential. The switch hitter has really shown a feel for the barrel, especially from the left side. With a simple setup and load, he is short through the zone and shows gap-to-gap power. He sprayed line drives throughout batting practice and had multiple quality at-bats during the game. He also showed above average defensive action. He has a feel for the position, bouncing around and always in the right place. He has above average hands and showed plenty of arm, topping at 88 mph to stay at short. He has the frame and tool as well as being a switch hitter to project at the next level.
