Paul Benitez, SS, Lake Nona, 2016
University of Arkansas-Little Rock

Paul Benitez8/30/15- Committed to University of Arkansas Little Rock 6/23/15 - 6-foot, 185 pound middle infielder with a very athletic live strong body. High energy guy that likes to hustle. Aggressive approach at the plate with a short leg kick. Quick bat with a slight uphill path. Swings with effort. Good balance. Very physical kid. Average ML raw power. Aggressive routes to ball in infield. Attacks ball on defense. Has time to read and stay under control. Has enough arm to play left side of infield, but occasionally hurries throws when he doesn’t have to. Ran a 6.76 60. 78 mph exit bat speed velocity. 85 mph infield velocity.

David Maberry, 1B, Choctawhatchee, 2016
Daytona State

David Maberry6/23/15 - 6-foot-2, 215 pound corner infielder with a big strong thick body. Moves well around the bag for a big guy and shows an average ML arm from first base to third base. Shows solid actions with good hands. Is athletic enough to turn the double play. Aggressive routes to balls. Fundamentally sound. Aggressive approach at the plate with strength and quickness in the bat. Swing has some length with some loft. Showed average ML power. Makes a lot of hard contact. Good balanced finish with a good bat path. Explosive hips. Good lower half. Ran a 7.38 60. 88 mph exit bat speed velocity. 81 mph infield velocity.

Justin Carrillo, RHP, Everglades, 2016
Eckerd College

6/28/15 Uncommitted rising senior. 5-foot-11, 165 pound right hander with an athletic strong body on a medium sized frame. Has a quick arm with some effort in delivery at an over hand slot. Ball jumps out of his hand. Hides ball in back. Fast ball is 85-86 mph and has good tilt for a guy his size. Curve ball is above average at 77-78 mph. It’s a tight downer with depth. He had the best breaking ball in the showcase. Has feel for the change up at 75-76 mph. Appears to have a tumbling action to it, much like a split finger fast ball. Is an aggressive guy that attacks the zone. Will be a good college arm.

AJ Labas, RHP, Trinity Christian Academy, 2017
University of North Florida

3/16/15 - 6-foot-3, 210 pound right hander with a thick strong body. Loose whippy arm with a high ¾ to low ¾ slot. Changes from time to time. Lands mostly in line but occasionally pulls off line and flies open causing his slot to change and fall off of the mound. Inconsistent command but fastball has good life at 85-88 mph. When he gets out front his ball has good tilt. Threw some change ups at 80-82 mph and occasionally would spin off of them, but had same life as fastball. Curve ball was a ¾ roller with occasional shape and rotation at 77-79 mph. Good looking young arm that will throw harder but needs to polish up delivery to get more consistency.

Robert Touron, RHP, Gulliver Prep, 2017
University of Miami

6/5/15 - Uncommitted rising junior. 6-foot-2 170 pounds with a lanky, athletic, and projectable body. Loose, quick, and whippy arm from a ¾ slot. Fastball has good, late arm side run at 86-89 mph. 71-74 mph slurve that is sharp and breaks late. He bounces off the mound and fields his position well.

Chase Solesky, RHP, John Carroll, 2016
Tulane University

6/20/15 - Big thick strong lower half. Hides ball in back. Lands slightly across his body. Arm is loose at a high 3/4 slot. Fast ball is 85-86 mph with some deception. Sneaky quick. Curve ball is a 3/4 shaped breaker that he throws for strikes. Repeats delivery and knows how to pitch. Stuff is a bit short but has FB command and throws secondary stuff for strikes.

Tyler Perez, RHP, Mater Academy, 2016
South Alabama

5/15/15 - Uncommitted junior. 6-foot-1 155 pounds with a lean, athletic and projectable body. Loose arm at a high ¾ slot. 86-88 mph FB. 75-76 mph CHG. 74 mph CR that breaks two planes and has good depth.

Anthony Maldonado, RHP, Palm Beach Central, 2016
Bethune-Cookman

2/10/15 - Big, soft, old-school pitcher’s body.  Fastball was 84 mph but with life and knows how to pitch.  Soft curve ball at 68-69 mph with effective shape and threw it for strikes.  Pitched in and out and showed poise with all the scouts there to see McKenzie.  Not a pro guy, but I liked how he went about his business.

Austin Nickle, OF/RHP, Melbourne Central Catholic, 2016
Daytona State

Steve Revilla, OF, West Broward, 2016
Florida Atlantic University

Tyler Ward, 1B, Jupiter, 2017
Tulane University
