Every Friday National Scouting Supervisor Nathan Rode provides a roundup of insider recruiting information and commitments throughout the PBR coverage area: The Buzz. Click Here to take a look at this week’s National Buzz. With that in mind, let’s take an in depth look at the Florida prospects who have committed to colleges, with detailed scouting information.

Slade Cecconi, RHP, Trinity Prep, 2018
University of Miami

2/10/15 - 5-foot-10, 155 pound right hander with a loose lean athletic projectable very young body. Loose easy working arm with a fluid delivery with a high ¾ slot. High front side. Lands slightly across his body. Occasionally front side flies open. Fastball was 82-86 mph with some arm side run. Curveball was 65-66 mph with good ¾ rotation. Had some feel for his changeup at 72-73 mph.  Struggled with control tonight but just because front side was flying open and balls were getting away from him.

Andrew Vaccacio, LHP, Dr. Phillips, 2015
St. John Community College

2/20/15 - Uncommitted senior. 5-foot-10, 170 pound lefty with a loose lean athletic projectable body on a smaller frame. Some effort in delivery with fluid arm action. Drop and drive type delivery. Aggressive approach. Attacks hitters with an 82-83 mph fastball with tail action. Curve ball was a big loopy ¾ breaker with good rotation at 66-68 mph. Changeup was 73-74 mph and dropped his slot to throw it. Can help a college team somewhere next year.
