Prep Baseball Report's IA Preseason All-State event took place on Sunday, March 5, 2017. The event was held at SportsPlex West in Waukee, IA. The event featured prospects from the 2018 and 2019 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from select 2020 and one 2021 participant. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches in attendance.

Today we take a look at the pitchers that were in attendance at event. Evaluations are listed below in alphabetical order. Check back in tomorrow as we release our list of the Top Overall Prospects from the IA Preseason All-State event.

Theo Arndt, 2B/RHP, Charles City, 2018
5-foot-10, 145-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.19 runner. Balanced stance with controlled load, slight uphill path to contact, underneath occasionally, works mid/away, 79 mph exit velocity. Works down to up, shows avg. hands and feet, makes routine plays, long release on throws, 77 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; slow tempo to delivery, bow and arrow arm action, works predominantly to glove side of plate. Fastball was 71-72 mph; consistently down in zone. Breaking ball is elevated with loose spin. Changeup shows running action to arm-side.

Carter Baumler, RHP/C, Dowling Catholic, 2020
6-foot-1, 178-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Shows body control, gathers over rubber, has direction to plate. Clean compact arm action with hand quickness out front. Fastball was 84-86; touching 87 mph with run. Changeup thrown consistently down in zone with sinking action. Curveball is under-developed but should continue to improve. 7.06 runner. Advanced athletic tools and frame for age. Slight crouch in set-up, clean bat path with lift, shows pop to mid/pull side of field, stands up through contact occasionally causing spin tendencies, 91 mph exit velocity. Quick release with clean arm path, above avg. carry on throws, avg. accuracy, solid receiver, tendency to stab at pitches, fundamental blocker. 77 mph arm strength with 2.00-2.4 pop times. Strong follow in 2020 class.

Drew Beazley, SS/RHP, Johnston, 2018
6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #26 ranked player in IA 2018 class. One of most improved players at event. Has started to fill out and mature physically. 7.42 runner. Gap to gap hitter, above avg. bat speed, shows ability to use whole field, some length to contact with deep load, drives baseball well, 94 mph exit velocity. Active feet, sure hands, plays through ball well, has body control, clean arm action, accuracy to bag, ability to throw from multiple angles, 87 mph arm strength across field. On mound; typical SS, repeats well, able to play catch, consistent strike thrower with 3 pitches. Fastball was 86-88 mph; delivered on downhill plane. Slider is above avg. when he stays on line and closed to target; showing late sweeping break for strikes.

Jared Beck, LHP, Davenport North, 2018
6-foot-11, 190-pound left-handed pitcher. #19 ranked player in IA 2018 class. Shows above avg. body control for age and size. Consistent strike thrower. Fastball was 81-82 mph, thrown downhill, with tilt to plate. Avg./ok feel for curveball with early 1/7 shape. Shows fade and sink on changeup working bottom of zone. Huge projection guy. Already throws strikes, decent athlete. Requires strength, maturity and polish; but is 6-11 and throws strikes.

Jackson Bennett, OF/RHP, Dyersville Beckman, 2018
6-foot-4, 195-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Currently #28 ranked player in IA 2018 class. 7.47 runner at this event. Easy body and hand load, stays connected for size, good direction in swing, works middle of field, flashes of hard contact, solid bat speed, 91 mph exit velocity. Above avg. actions in OF, long strides, confident fielder, moves through ball with rhythm, clean exchange, long arm action with carry and accuracy, 91 mph arm strength from outfield. On mound; rocker step into balance point, good direction with extension and finish to plate. Longer arm action producing 85-87 mph fastballs; consistently heavy in bottom half of zone. Slider has good depth and tight spin. Changeup was down in zone with running action. Quality bullpen throwing 3 above avg. pitches for strikes. Will make move up IA 2018 rankings.

Cooper Beving, LHP/1B, Norwalk, 2018
6-foot-1, 200-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Has made improvements on mound. Cleaner arm action out front, hitchy glove-side creating some deception, collapses front leg on stride. Fastball was 78-81 mph with varying action to both sides of plate. Solid shape on 1/7 breaking ball with avg. depth. Flat action on changeup for strikes. 7.62 runner. Open stance, choppy load and stride, flat swing plane, slashy contact to middle of field, 84 mph exit velocity. Sits back on ball, usable glove, avg. around bag, 81 mph arm strength across infield.

Zachary Bierman, LHP/1B, Western Dubuque, 2019
6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Drop and drive mechanics, extension with glove side, some herk and jerk creating deception in delivery. Clean arm action out front from ¾ slot producing 78-80 mph fastballs with running action down in zone. Sweeping action on breaking ball; occasionally on side of ball causing flat Frisbee action. Changeup is heavy in zone with flat action. 7.5 runner. Body load, tips back shoulder to trigger swing, line drive swing plane, transfers weight through, consistent solid contact, uses middle of field well with gap to gap approach, 87 mph exit velocity. Sits back to field, sound glove, moves with rhythm, well above avg. arm at first base, 86 mph arm strength across infield.

Jarrett Blunt, RHP, Ottumwa, 2018
6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Up tempo athletic delivery. Wrap on back-side. Comes out clean and quick in front. Ball jumps on hitter. Pounded the zone with 86-87 mph fastball; touching 88 mph. Breaking ball has tight spin, repeats well, and consistently threw for quality strikes. Changeup was 78-79 mph with firm heavy action. Blunt will make big jump into rankings after previously being un-ranked.

Kyle Burns, OF/RHP, Sioux City East, 2019
5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.69 runner. Pre-set hands, slight body load, balanced swing, late trigger to contact, ground ball and occasional line drive contact, 81 mph exit velocity. Aggressive fielder, raw footwork, tends to field on side of body, stiff arm action, accurate to target, 81 mph arm strength from outfield. On mound; clean mechanics, drop and drive, stiff short arm action. Fastball was 75-76 mph; touching 78 mph with running action. Breaking ball has loose spin and arm has tendency to slow down. Changeup showed cut action thrown consistently for strikes.

Zack Calvert, RHP/1B, Dowling Catholic, 2018
6-foot, 215-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Up tempo delivery, wrap on backside, swings down mound with shorter stride out, works quickly, plays catch with glove well, with solid ASR and sink. Short break on 10/4 slider with ability to land for strikes consistently. Slows arm on changeup; shows solid fade and sink. 8.62 runner. Body load, line drive swing plane, transfers weight through swing, out front at contact, pull approach with ground ball contact, 77 mph exit velocity. Works down to up, sure hands, avg. range, 73 mph arm strength.

Tom Casey, 3B/RHP, Dubuque Senior, 2020
6-foot-1, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.58 runner. Rhythm in hands, body load, athletic launch position, uses whole field, spray contact, 81 mph exit velocity. Works down to up, shows footwork and angles, fields deep into body occasionally, long clean arm action, good follow in 2020 class, 77 mph arm strength across diamond. On mound; rocker step to balance point, lands slightly open, clean compact arm action, some stiffness in delivery on front side. Fastball was 78-80 mph with inconsistent command. Solid CB that ultimately will develop into a slider and should be solid pitch. Best pitch was changeup with late cut and solid fade for strikes.

Nathan Chasey, SS/RHP, Gilbert, 2018
6-foot-2, 175-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. #36 ranked player in IA 2018 class. 7.22 runner. Open stance, strides to square, stays connected, short to contact, quick hands to baseball, shows bat speed with flashes of pop, gap to gap approach, 89 mph exit velocity. Plays with energy, stays on balls of feet, active defender, sound hands, good direction through baseball, slight hitch in arm action, accurate to bag, 83 mph arm strength across diamond. On mound; good rhythm and tempo, some herk and jerk creating deception, clean out front and works on downhill plane. Fastball was straight at 81-83 mph; consistently thrown for strikes. Showed above avg. breaking ball out of the strength with small break and tight rotation. Heavy downward action on changeup.

Tony Comellas, 3B/RHP, Iowa City West, 2018
6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Currently #35 ranked player in IA 2018 class. 7.77 runner. Pre-set hands with rhythm, body load, pull approach, aggressive swings, solid bat speed, flashes of pop in bat to pull-side, 85 mph exit velocity. Plays with rhythm, works through ball, sound glove and footwork, long arm action, above avg. carry with accuracy to bag, 85 mph arm strength across. On mound; has rhythm and tempo to delivery, long arm circle with stab on backside, clean out front and moves down mound with intent. Fastball was 85-86 mph with solid downhill plane and life. Above avg. depth on sharp 11/5 breaking ball. Firm changeup, flashes occasional fade, and works bottom of zone.

Jacob Craven, RHP/SS, Ogden, 2019
5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Controlled rocker step into balance point, explosive down mound, lands on stiff front leg. Compact arm action that works well. Up and over delivery producing 78-80 mph fastballs, touching 82 mph, with command of strike zone. Lands 11/5 curveball that has above avg. shape and spin. Changeup has flat action; but is a usable third pitch. 7.6 runner. Open stance, leg kick trigger, steep uphill swing plane, fly ball contact, 71 mph exit velocity. Shows solid footwork and hands works ok, plays slightly flat footed, choppy rhythm, accurate to bag, 80 mph arm strength across infield.

Ryan Doran, RHP/1B, Harlan, 2018
6-foot-3, 210-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Stretch only, low ¾ arm slot, simple mechanics, solid extension to plate. Fastball was 82-83 mph consistently in zone for strikes. Loose spin on breaking ball for strikes. 70-71 mph changeup was usable and around zone. 7.65 runner. Open stance, easy rolling load and stride to square, narrow base, limited use of lower half, loud contact, power potential, line drive contact with pull approach, 85 mph exit velocity. Sure hands, fields with confidence, easy actions, accurate throws, 77 mph arm strength across field.

Keaton Duckett, RHP, Johnston, 2018
6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Lean fast twitch frame. Up tempo delivery. Slight tuck and turn at balance point. Short arm action on backside; close to pie arm action out front. Max effort delivery. Threw high volume of strikes with fastball at 87-90 mph with late running action. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with late 2-plane break. Threw one of best changeups at event; delivered at fastball arm speed, turns it over, and has late fade and sink away from LHH.

Owen Durham, RHP/3B, Carlisle, 2018
6-foot-1, 176-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Controlled mechanics, drop and drive, clean arm action, easy effort from OT slot. Fastball was 79-80 mph, delivered on downhill plane, with heavy late life. Cranks breaking ball early; has good shape with tight spin and late break. Solid fade with avg. action on changeup. 7.13 runner. Wide stance, front heel turn trigger, high hand set, line drive swing plane, works mid/away well, hard ground ball and line drive contact, 84 mph exit velocity. Shows hands and feet in field, plays himself into tough hops occasionally, has rhythm, athletic actions, 78 mph arm strength across field.

Connor Erps, SS/RHP, Dowling Catholic, 2018
5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.34 runner. Heavy body load, strides slightly across body, aggressive swing, flat swing plane, works mid/away well, solid bat speed, 89 mph exit velocity. Sound glove with avg/ok feet, choppy rhythm, has raw ability, accurate to bag, 82 mph arm strength across field. On mound; overall shows quality 3 pitch mix, H3/4 pie arm slot, some hand quickness. Fastball was 80-82 mph, touching 85 mph one time, with heavy action in zone for strikes. Breaking ball has late down action and is above avg. Consistently threw changeup for strikes with feel for zone.

Andrew Fox, OF/RHP, Des Moines Christian, 2019
5-foot-10, 140-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.53 runner at this event. Balanced swing, repeats well, consistent solid contact, flat swing plane, uses whole field, 74 mph exit velocity. Confident fielder, aggressive routes, plays through ball, with carry and accuracy from clean H3/4 arm slot producing 84 mph arm strength from outfield. On mound; clean controlled mechanics, has direction to plate, clean arm compact arm action, with solid extension and finish. Fastball was 75-78 mph with cutting action to plate. Small break on 11/5 curveball with solid spin and shape. Tendency to slow arm on CH; causing pitch to be elevated to plate.

Jayden Gibson, C/RHP, Grinnell
6-foot, 178-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.59 runner. Simple load and stride, quiet head, produced consistent solid contact, gap to gap approach, 85 mph exit velocity. Some extra movements while receiving, early forward movement on catch and throw, works around plate, lower arm slot, quick release on throws, 78 mph arm strength with 1.93-2.03 pop times. On mound; simple turn, slight back turn, limited use of lower half, solid life. Short arm action producing 81-83 mph fastballs. Solid 11/5 breaking ball for strikes. Drop action on changeup working bottom of zone.

Jacob Goyke, C/RHP, Waukee, 2019
5-foot-8, 175-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.51 runner. Open stance, tall to fall, stays connected well, short to contact, flashes pop in bat with mid/pull approach, 91 mph exit velocity. Square stance, avg. receiver and blocker, solid accuracy to bag, 2.02-2.19 pop tmes with 71 mph arm strength. On mound; uptempo delivery, short arm action, 1-piece through, extension and finish. Fastball was 71-73 mph, inconsistent around zone, with slight cutting action. CB has loose spin and is thrown for strikes. Cutter shows solid depth. Changeup is thrown at fastball arm speed.

Dalton Hagist, RHP/3B, Waukee
6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Simple mechanics, drags back leg down mound, OT arm slot. Straight fastball was 74-75 mph; touching 76 mph. Inconsistent spin and shape on breaking ball with cut action. Changeup was thrown for strikes with running action. 7.78 runner. Wide stance, crouched, flat swing plane, line drive contact, stiff actions in box, 79 mph exit velo. Tends to field flat-footed, avg. glove and feet, 75 mph arm strength across field.

William Hawks, SS/RHP, Des Moines Roosevelt, 2018
5-foot-10, 165-pound switch hitting 2-way player. 7.63 runner. From left-side; body load with short leg kick, inside out swing, works mid/away, solid line drive contact. Right-side; similar mechanics, more pull approach, works mid/pull, flashes of hard contact, 86 mph exit velocity. Active feet, plays with energy, sound glove, clean exchanges, clean arm action, accurate to bag with solid carry, 79 mph arm across infield. On mound; balanced on mound, pitchability guy, quick arm out front. Fastball was 78-80 mph; jumped out of hand well. Solid breaking ball, released out front, for strikes. Cut action on changeup.

Isaiah Henrichs, LHP/1B, Carlisle, 2019
5-foot-9, 200-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Consistently worked in bottom of zone with 3 pitches. Easy mechanics, repeats well, with some extension and finish. Fastball was 80-81 mph for strikes. Breaking ball has depth, thrown in bottom half of zone, for quality strikes. 71-73 mph changeup was thrown at fastball arm speed for strikes as well. 8.03 runner. Easy hand and body load, balanced, shows ability to use whole field, consistent solid contact, 87 mph exit velocity. Usable glove, quick release, works through ball, 72 mph arm strength across field.

Dalton Hews, OF/RHP, Adel-Desoto-Minburn, 2018
5-foot-11, 145-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Currently #33 ranked player in IA 2018 class. 7.19 runner at this event. Controlled rhythm, quiet head to contact, consistent solid contact, uses both gaps, should continue to develop with added strength, 84 mph exit velocity. Easy actions in field, confident fielder, long arm action with carry and accuracy to target, 84 mph arm strength from outfield. On mound; simple delivery, has body control, upper and lower half synced well. Long loose arm action, has direction to plate, and has extension and finish. Fastball 80-82 mph for strikes. 11/5 breaking ball has solid shape; tends to leave elevated. Solid arm speed on changeup with flashes of fade.

Zach Hollingsworth, OF/RHP, 2018
6-foot, 150-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.13 runner at this event. Open stance, strides to square, keeps hands inside baseball, avg. extension through contact, consistent solid contact, works middle of field well, 82 mph exit velocity. Easy actions in field, fields with confidence, long arm stroke with hitch on backside, throws have carry and accuracy to target, 82 mph arm strength from outfield. On mound; front foot outside knee, long sideways arm stroke on backside, almost pie ¾ arm action in front. Sinking action on 80-82 mph fastball. 10/4 breaking ball has slider shape and actions. Showed feel for changeup; consistently throwing for strikes.

Braden Houston, SS/RHP, Iowa City West, 2018
6-foot, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.59 runner. Slightly open stance, strides to square with front heel turn trigger, some stiffness in swing plane, has good hands, finds ball with barrel, flashes pop in bat with gap to gap approach, 90 mph exit velocity. Solid athlete in field, works around and through ball, creates throwing angles, sound glove, long arm action with accuracy to bag, 84 mph arm across infield. On mound; athletic on mound, small back turn, hides baseball, quicker arm from OT slot. Fastball has arm-side life, delivered on downhill plane, at 83-85 mph. 11/5 breaking is inconsistent; but flashes feel and should become solid pitch. Above avg. action and fade on changeup; showing feel for bottom of zone.

Clayton Hromidko, RHP, Cedar Rapids Prairie, 2019
5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. Above avg. arm strength for age, rolls through windup into stride, clean arm action, ball jumps out of hand well. Fastball works on downhill plane at 88-89 mph; touching 90 mph. Velocity on breaking ball, 77-79 mph, thrown hard with 10/4 shape and flashes of late break. Heavy action in bottom of zone with changeup with avg. feel. Presently more of an arm strength guy; if Hromidko shows velocity and pitchability in game action; won’t be uncommitted for long.

Drew Irvine, RHP/SS, Waukee, 2018
6-foot-3, 160-pound switch-hitting 2-way player. Currently #40 ranked player in IA 2018 class. Slight tuck and turn, hides ball from hitter, aggressive down mound, good arm speed. Long and loose producing 83-85 mph heavy fastballs for strikes. Above avg. shape and spin on 11/7 curveball with late break. Changeup has late run to arm-side; thrown at fastball arm speed for strikes. 7.12 runner at this event. More controlled swing from left side, solid contact, avg. extension through contact, solid swing. More aggressive as RHH; better bat speed, line drive swing plane, stays on and through, gap to gap approach, 83 mph exit velocity. Solid athleticism at SS, sound hands, makes plays, accurate arm, long arm action, accurate to bag, 88 mph arm strength across diamond.

Trey Jacobson, SS/RHP, Estherville Lincoln Central, 2018
6-foot, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.08 runner. Open stance, long stride with deep load, has present strength, works middle of field well, flashes decent pop in bat, line drive swing plane, 81 mph exit velocity. Solid athlete in field, raw fielding mechanics, clean arm action, avg. accuracy to bag, 81 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; short rocker step into balance point, slight collapse, lands across body, with some extension and finish. Fastball was 79-81 mph with slight running action to arm-side. Solid shape on 11/5 breaking ball; consistently thrown for strikes. Above avg. fade on changeup; and is a strong pitch for him.

Dillan Janak, LHP/1B, Harrisburg (SD), 2018
6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Showed significant improvement since July. Will enter IA 2018 rankings once updated. Velo jump from high 70’s to mid 80’s. Athletic delivery with tempo, slight tuck at balance, explodes down mound with direction and extension. Arm works well from ¾ slot producing 83-85 mph fastballs with late life. Late break on tight spinning 1/7 curveball. Changeup is firm with flat action; should develop better feel once he is comfortable in his increased velocity. 7.41 runner. Slight crouch, simple swing, clean bat path, consistent hard contact during BP, quality gap to gap approach, flashes of pop in bat, 83 mph exit velocity. Soft glove, shows athleticism, accurate throws, comfortable around bag with good footwork, 81 mph arm across field.

Jayden Johannsen, SS/RHP, Sioux Falls Washington (SD), 2019
6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.21 runner. Wide stance, solid bat speed, lift in swing plane, pull approach, solid contact to oppo field, 85 mph exit velocity. Shows range, sound glove, stiff arm action, avg. accuracy to bag, 81 mph arm strength across field. On mound; consistently in zone with 3 pitches. Uncontrolled front leg, front shoulder tip, pitches up and over, H ¾ slot. Fastball was 78-81 mph with sink. Breaking ball has tight spin with good depth. Changeup has good sinking action in bottom of zone.

Cole Kaufman, 1B/LHP, Waukee, 2019
5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. 8.01 runner. Simple load, spin hitter, narrow base, pull approach, inconsistent contact at this event, 79 mph exit velocity. Sound glove, avg. around bag, accurate arm, 77 mph arm strength across diamond. On mound; short ¾ arm slot, uses front side in delivery, occasionally upright on release. Fastball was 78-80 mph with long finish out front. Changeup was best secondary; thrown at fastball arm speed for strikes. Inconsistent shape and spin on breaking ball.

Jayden Kies, OF/RHP, Iowa City Regina, 2018
6-foot, 155-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Currently #16 ranked player in IA 2018 class. 6.9 runner at this event. Lean athletic build. Whippy line drive swing plane, loose hands with extension through contact, consistent line drives, arm bar in load creates length to swing, 84 mph exit velocity. Above avg. actions in field, long and loose, shows appropriate footwork, fields out front, with clean arm action and accuracy to target, 82 mph arm strength from outfield. On mound; long arm action, High ¾ slot, works fastball downhill, consistently in zone. Fastball was 73-76 mph with avg. spin rate. Loose spin on breaking ball; elevated to plate. Knuckleball is still a pitch in development.

Caden Kratz, RHP, Mason City Newman, 2018
6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Tempo and rhythm to delivery. Inverted posture to clear head from ultra OT slot. Fastball was 80-81 mph, downhill plane, and was straight. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with solid depth. Threw change consistently in zone with solid arm speed. Repeats all pitches well and throws strikes.

Austin Krob, LHP/OF, Lisbon, 2018
6-foot-2, 195-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. #25 ranked player in IA 2018 class. Long loose arm action, front shoulder tilt, hides baseball, comes out clean in front with good arm speed. Fastball was 84-86 mph with straight action for strikes. Curveball has above avg. spin and shape with solid depth. Changeup is solid/avg. third pitch presently. 7.33 runner. High hand set, strength in swing, short path in zone, pull approach, flashes power potential to pull-side of field, 92 mph exit velocity. Solid actions, tends to sit back, above avg. arm action with carry and accuracy, 86 mph arm strength from outfield.

Giovanni Mauro, SS/RHP, Norwalk, 2019
5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.39 runner. Spread stance with short stride, flat bat plane, slight arm bar in load, repeats swing, mid/pull approach, 79 mph exit velocity. Avg. footwork, clean exchanges with solid glove skills, sinking action on throws with accuracy, quick release, 73 mph arm strength. On mound; short tuck and turn, foot outside knee at balance point, has direction to plate, releases out and over front side falling down mound. Fastball was 74-77 mph, delivered from pie arm slot, with varying run and cut action. Shows ability to land breaking ball consistently; with inconsistent 11/5 shape. Heavy run with solid action on changeup.

Nic McCay, RHP, Carlisle, 2018

Breaking ball has good velocity, is one of better in state, with high spin rate and sharp late 11/5 break. Consistently in bottom of zone with above avg. changeup, slightly firm, but thrown at fastball arm speed with good deception and fade.

Fastball and CH are currently above avg. pitches; once Tobey tightens up breaking ball; should be high follow in state.

Late arm-side fade and sink on solid changeup for strikes.

6-foot-2, 195-pound left-handed pitcher. Physical build, creates deception in delivery, moderate effort, arm works well, ball comes out of hands clean. Fastball was 82-85 mph, downhill plane, with tilt. Flashes 2-plane break on solid 1/7 curveball. Changeup is firm but still has fade and shows feel for pitch around zone. Interesting follow in 2018 class and will make a jump into rankings.

Fastball was 83-84 mph with occasional run and sink action. Breaking ball has high spin, 11/5 shape, and thrown consistently for strikes. Threw one of better changeups at event with above avg. action, fade and feel.
