IA Top Prospect Games Preview

Prep Baseball Report Iowa

The Prep Baseball Report Iowa Top Prospect Games event will take place on Sunday, August 7, 2016. The event will be held at Duane Banks Field, on the campus of the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, IA. The event will feature prospects from the 2017 class from Iowa who will showcase their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches in attendance.

This year's event looks to be event stronger than last year's; which saw over 85% of the player's in attendance make college commitments to continue playing baseball.

8:00 am - 8:15 am Check in for Team 1 and Team 2
8:30 am Camp Introduction
9:00 am Position Player Workout
• Warm-up
• Batting practice on main field
• Extended infield/outfield session
10:30 am Game: Team #1 vs Team #2 (14-16 innings)

2:15 pm Game: Team #3 vs Team #4 (14-16 innings)

Each session will take extended infield/outfield and batting practice on the field prior to playing their game. Video will be shot of position players during their pre-game workout. Videos will be shot of pitchers throwing live in game play.
