Chicagoland Open: Stats Posted

The Chicagoland Open took place on August 21st at The MAX in McCook, IL. The event was open to all high school classes. The prospects participated in a pro style workout in front of the PBR Scouting Staff.

SS/OF Ronald Applewhite (Rich East, 2017) found his name near or at the top of a few categories. Applewhite was clocked at 85 mph from the outfield, 84 mph across the infield and ran a 6.77 laser-timed 60. RHP Zachary Fricke (Buffalo Grove, 2018) showed well on the mound, sitting 83-84 mph, touching 85 with his fastball. RHP Brett Taucher (Elk Grove, 2017) had the highest fastball velocity of the event, 86 mph.
