No. 9 St. Charles North 8, Lake Park 1
Tyler Mettetal
tripled and doubled and Zach Mettetal tripled and singled for the North Stars. Jack Lambert allowed a run on four hits in five innings to earn the win. John Legare added two hits and an RBI.

No. 10 O’Fallon 7, Highland 4
Jared Dalonzo
went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI for O’Fallon. Christian Koechner added two hits and Dillon Weiss reached base three times and scored two runs. Logan Boente allowed five hits in six innings for the win. Andrew Manning and Sam Greene had two hits apiece for Highland.

No. 12 Providence 3, Bishop McNamara 2
The Celtics scored two runs on wild pitches in the top of the seventh to avoid the upset. Jackson Stulas got the win in relief, and Matt Trzesnewski pitched a perfect seventh for the save.

No. 14 Naperville Central 14, Metea Valley 13
Noah Cinzio
went 3-for-4 with three RBI, including a walk-off single as Central rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Beau Buchanan had two hits and two RBI in the victory. Ashton Creal had three hits for Metea.

No. 15 Sandburg 3, Joliet Central 2
Kevin Lane
pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and Andy Gaytan went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Sandburg.

No. 25 Lemont 10, Lockport 1
Nate Madej
had four RBI and Danny Rizzo allowed three hits in four scorless innings for Lemont. Garrett Acton had two hits and scored two runs.

Vernon Hills 5, No. 24 Mundelein 4
Tommy Earhart
went 3-for-3, including a bunt single that ignited the Cougars’ two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth. Matt Gramins singled home Earhart with the tying run, and Brennan Reback got hit by a pitch to force in the tiebreaker.

New Trier 12, Highland Park 5
Liam O’Neill
went 3-for-5 with five RBI and the Trevians pounded out 15 hits in the victory. Matt Kann had three hits and scored three runs.

Prairie Ridge 7, Maine South 4
Luke Annen
drove in four runs and Jacob Carpenter went 3-for-3 for the Wolves.

Loyola 8, Evanston 1
Liam McKeough
allowed a run on four hits in five innings and Brian Vance had three hits for Loyola.

Barrington 8, Prospect 0
Jake Zyzda
struck out 10 in six innings of four-hit ball. Jimmy Day had a two-run triple.

Elk Grove 3, Palatine 0
Joe Lopez
and Christian Camacho combined on the four-hit shutout, with Camacho striking out eight, walking none and allowing one hit in four innings of relief. Lopez had an RBI double.

Conant 8, Rolling Meadows 7
Jimmy Brady
had two hits and Nick Roberts drove in two runs as Conant built a 7-0 lead and hung on. Marco Perez and Jack Lincoln had three hits apiece for Rolling Meadows.

Buffalo Grove 12, Hoffman Estates 3
Ben Moran
had three hits and Joey Pinakidis had two hits and three RBI for the Bison.

Wauconda 7, Lake Forest 4
John Herbst
struck out eight in 5⅓ while allowing four unearned runs and Wauconda prevailed despite managing just three hits.

Stevenson 5, Grant 1
Justin Kopech
allowed an unearned run on four hits in five innings and Christian Dutler had two hits for the Patriots. Jack Gorden went 3-for-3 for Grant.

Antioch 6, Zion-Benton 4
Austin Marsiglio
had three hits and Tim Otter hit a home run for Antioch.

Libertyville 12, Round Lake 0
Billy Krumm
pitched a no-hitter in the five-inning victory. Brian Murphy homered and Jackson Peterson had three RBI for the Wildcats.

Lakes 10, Lake Zurich 0
Tim Ohlwein
pitched four scoreless innings and Brandon Khan had three RBI in the five-inning victory.

Cary-Grove 2, Glenbrook South 1
Zach Willis
singled in the top of the 12th and came around to score Cary-Grove’s first run since the fourth inning on a passed ball. Tom Neilson and Michael Eleftheriou combined for a gem. Neilson allowed two hits in eight innings, striking out five and walking none. K.K. Kopley pitched nine innings for Glenbrook South.

Wheaton North 10, Naperville North 2
Zach Colangelo
went the distance, allowing two unearned runs on five hits, and Erik Mueller went 3-for-4 with four RBI for the Falcons. Colangelo and Ryan Muehfelt had two hits apiece in the vicory.

Waubonsie Valley 7, Neuqua Valley 2
Joe Spano
went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Quinton Zielke scattered nine hits in the complete-game victory. Zielke also singled and doubled in four at-bats.

York 8, Downers Grove North 3
Mike O’Malley
and Matt Riecker had two hits and scored two runs apiece for the Dukes. Riecker also pitched the first three innings before giving way to Cole Miller, who struck out five and allowed an unearned run in four innings.

Hinsdale Central 7, Benet 2
Rob Dandorph
pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and Alex Herbst hit a home run for Central.

Stagg 12, Homewood-Flossmoor 11
Josh Nowak’s walk-off sacrifice fly capped Stagg’s eight-run rally in the bottom of the seventh. Max Downs went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI for Stagg. Bernie Coderre went 4-for-4 for Homewood-Flossmoor.

Lockport 14, Joliet West 4

Anthony Cocco went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Matt Harder had two hits and scored three runs for the Porters.

Plainfield East 7, Oswego 5

Eddie Marcotte went 3-for-3 and Matt Pratscher and Michael Sullivan drove in two runs apiece for East.

Lincoln-Way East 4, Bolingbrook 1

Kyle Manka struck out nine in six innings of four-hit ball and Jake Pomykalski had a two-run single in the four-run fourth for the Griffins.

Lincoln-Way West 16, Andrew 11

Tom Laberry had three hits and three RBI for West.

Oak Lawn 10, Hillcrest 0

Nico Uriarte drove in four runs and Justin Swatek had three steals and scored twice for Oak Lawn.

Shepard 5, Argo 4

Eric Bruesch went 2-for-4 with two RBI, including a sacrifice fly that broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the eighth. Kevin Carmody had a two-run homer in the victory.

Rochester 10, PORTA 9

Christian Lett stole home for the game-winning run as the Rockets rallied for eight runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Glenwood 9, Triad 5
Brendan Hostettler and Jacob Ryan had three hits apiece for Glenwood.

Sacred Heart-Griffin 10, Nokomis 2

Cal Elvers had three hits and Sam Sergent drove in three runs for Sacred Heart-Griffin. Sam Raes allowed two unearned runs on two hits in five innings for the win.

Centennial 9, St. Anthony 3
Luke Smith
had three RBI, Matt Davis had three hits and Chris Monroe hit a home run for Centennial.

Kenwood 8, Simeon 7
Taylor Jackson
followed Justin Hardiman’s two-run double with a two-run single as Kenwood rallied for seven runs in the top of the sixth to take an 8-4 lead.

Lane 6, Von Steueben 4
Felix Rosario
had a two-run double in the fifth inning as Lane rallied from a 4-0 deficit.

St. Charles East 8, Kaneland 1
Joe Sciarrino
went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs for the Saints. Keegan Kochis and Jon Recchia combined on a three-hitter in the victory.

Burlington Central 4, Dundee-Crown 2
Winning pitcher David Lauber had an RBI single and Anthony Larson allowed one hit in 2⅔ innings for the save.

Hampshire 9, Larkin 5
Tyler Maglaya
went 2-for-3 with an RBI and eight Hampshire players had one hit apiece.

Herscher 4, Coal City 3
Matt Alsip
went the distance, allowing two earned runs on seven hits while striking out six in the victory.
