Steve Washilewski extended his scoreless inning streak to 25 as St. Rita cruised in the first round of Do It Stevie’s Way tournament at Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood. Washilewski struck out 13 in six innings, allowing three hits and three walks in improve to 4-0. Dom Sarro and Danny Gleaves had two hits apiece for the Mustangs.

No. 2 Mount Carmel 8, Lemont 3
Bobby Seymour had two hits and two RBI, Alek Thomas belted a run-scoring triple and the Caravan broke open a close game with two in the sixth and three in the seventh at the Do It Stevie’s Way tournament in Crestwood. Cameron Hupe allowed two hits in five innings and used seven strikeouts to overcome eight walks and improve to 4-1.

No. 10 O’Fallon 2, Eureka (MO) 0
Max Schafer pitched a four-hitter for O’Fallon at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Schafer struck out four and walked one in the complete-game victory.

Kenwood 7, Jones 5
Devon Tukes and Sonny Powell drove in two runs apiece for the Broncos. Justin Hardiman allowed one earned run on six hits in 6 ⅔ innings and Jared Hunt got the final out for the save. Dylan Spector doubled and singled for Jones.

St. Patrick 6, Lane 4
Mathieu Stafford had an RBI single and Jason Stafford struck out the side to earn the save.
