Bradley Harrison
pitched a one-hitter and Camden Bauer went 3-for-3 with a home run in the six-inning victory. Harrison struck out seven and walked one. Dillon Weiss had four hits for O’Fallon.

No. 7 Plainfield North 9, Oswego 3
Josh Garner
struck out eight in six innings of one-hit ball and North pounded out 13 hits in the victory. Justin Yeager, Jacob Dunham and Tyler Garrity had three hits apiece.

No. 8 St. Charles North 17, Larkin 1
Tyler Mettetal
and Zach Mettetal combined for four hits and six RBI. Zach Mettetal doubled twice and drove in four.

No. 10 Edwardsville 16, Granite City 0
Jake Garella
faced one over the minimum in his five-inning one-hitter, striking out seven and walking one. He also had two hits and Cole Cimarolli had two of Edwardsville’s six doubles.

No. 11 Sandburg 6, Joliet West 0
Jack Wolfe
allowed three hits in six scoreless innings, striking out seven and walking one, for Sandburg. Branden Comia and Troy Jones had two hits apiece and Evan Tenut had two RBI in the victory.

No. 12 Lincoln-Way North 2, Lincoln-Way Central 0
Mitch Hunter
pitched a two-hitter and Luke Bertolani went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run for the Phoenix. Hunter struck out two and walked none. Nick Figus had two hits in the victory.

No. 13 Normal Community 18, Peoria 3
Normal scored seven runs in the top of the first and 12 different Ironmen had a hit in the five-inning victory.

No. 15 Naperville Central 3, Glenbard North 2
The Redhawks had just two hits, neither coming in the three-run fourth inning. Liam Heath allowed one hit while striking out five and walking none in four innings to win in relief. Mark Cerabona took the tough-luck loss for North.

No. 16 St. Francis 10, Benet 7
Mike Beach’s
three-run triple was the big blow as St. Francis scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to break a 6-6 tie. Brett Whelton hit a home run in the victory.

No. 17 Oak Park 5, Hinsdale Central 0
Hank Christie
allowed three hits and no walks in 6 ⅓ innings and Joseph Cundari retired the final two batters to complete the shutout. Christie and Evan Bell had two hits apiece for the Huskies.

No. 18 Nazareth 3, No. 21 Joliet Catholic 1
Carson Bartles
pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts in the ESCC victory. Brandon Bossard went 2-for-3 and Kyle Kane drove in pinch-runner Julian Love, a Notre Dame football recruit, with a safety squeeze that broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the sixth.

No. 22 Lemont 2, Tinley Park 0
Ryan Sublette pitched a no-hitter, striking out eight and walking one. Garrett Acton drove home both Lemont runs with a first-inning double. Zack Tuuk did not allow a hit in three innings of relief for Tinley Park.

No. 25 Plainfield South 11, Plainfield Central 1
Nick Enloe went 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs to lead South’s 14-hit attack. Konnor Ash pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts in the six-inning victory.

Stevenson 11, Libertyville 0
Patrick Loeffler
(4-for-4, 3 RBI) and Robert McGaha (2-for-4, 5 RBI) hit home runs in the five-inning victory for the Patriots. Justin Stark allowed three hits and struck out seven in his fourth straight start without an earned run. Henry Marchese went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Stevenson.

Warren 4, Lake Zurich 1
Ryan Davila
struck out 13 in a two-hitter to improve to 4-0. Tanner Dyer had two doubles and two RBI and Michael Rosenberg went 2-for-2 for the Blue Devils.

Mundelein 6, Zion-Benton 1
Brendan Murphy
recorded 11 strikeouts and went 2-for-3 with a triple. Jeff Morton had two hits and two RBI for the Mustangs.

Wauconda 10, Vernon Hills 4
John Herbst
went 4-for-4 and Brian McFarlin and Trevor Sefcik had three hits apiece for red-hot Wauconda. Drake Berman allowed three hits in 5⅔ innings for the win.

Montini 3, Marian Catholic 2
Jake Rosley’s
RBI single in the bottom of the seventh won it for Montini in a Do It Stevie’s Way tournament first-round game. Justin Blake had two hits for the Broncos.

Loyola 12, Lane 1
Ryan Lin-Peistrup
had two hits and two RBI for Loyola. Charlie Rafferty pitched four innings to pick up the win.

New Trier 3, Evanston 1
Kevin Donahue
hit a three-run homer to back the pitching of Ben Brecht and two relievers. Brecht allowed one hit and two walks while striking out eight. Jack Falk struck out two in a perfect seventh.

Glenbrook South 10, Maine South 7
Brett Borre
allowed one hit in four innings to win in relief. Jack Anderson had three hits in the victory.

Deerfield 10, Niles North 5
Ben Charlson
went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Deerfield scored eight runs in the top of the sixth to break it open.

Glenbrook North 7, Highland Park 2
Tommy Gertner
pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk. Both Highland Park runs were unearned.

Waukegan 8, Niles West 7
Jean Casanova’s
double was the only hit in Waukegan’s seven-run sixth-inning rally. Casanova struck out nine in 4⅔ but did not factor into the decision.

Buffalo Grove 9, Elk Grove 0
Cooper Hays
allowed four hits and no walks while striking out five in five scoreless innings. Kurt Kelly and Jack Vaselaney had two hits and two RBI apiece for the Bison.

Minooka 1, Plainfield East 0
Tyler Talbot
pitched a three-hitter with two strikeouts and no walks for Minooka. Jon Butler’s two-out single in the top of the sixth brought home Jackson Shepherd with the game’s lone run. Mitch Koran allowed five hits and no walks in a complete game for Plainfield East.

Lincoln-Way East 8, Stagg 1
Nick Tortorici
pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk for the Griffins. Tyler Krause had three hits and Brandon Skopick drove in three runs.

Romeoville 3, Oswego East 2
Fernando Perez
and Matt Bottcher had two hits apiece and Zach Swearingen scattered eight hits and three walks in the complete-game victory.

Oak Lawn 5, Reavis 4
Sean Murphy hit a two-run homer and Patrick Slattery singled home the winning run in the seventh.

Bremen 5, T.F. South 1
Colin Walton
pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and Cody Esparza went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two stolen bases in the victory.

Belleville East 3, Collinsville 0
Cody Freppon
pitched a one-hitter as East recorded its fourth straight shutout victory. Freppon struck out five and walked two and Drew Millas hit a home run for East.

Jacksonville 2, Rochester 1
Adam Hillis
scattered seven hits in the complete-game victory and Ben Hill had an RBI single in the two-run second inning for Jacksonville.

Richwoods 2, Peoria Notre Dame 1
Alex Peters
struck out 10 in a five-hitter and Tre Hendon scored the winning run on an error in the bottom of the seventh.

Monticello 11, Maroa-Forsyth 5
Tyler Jones
went 4-for-4, Jacob Burton went 3-for-3 and Monticello put up a nine-spot in the second inning.

St. Joseph-Ogden 2, Rantoul 1
Dalton Parker
recorded 14 strikeouts and a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh. Parker pitched a four-hitter and did not walk a batter.

Teutopolis 5, St. Anthony 4
Devin Smith’s
RBI double in the seventh forced extra innings and pinch-hitter Jason Kenter singled home the winning run in the eighth.

Sacred Heart-Griffin 10, Decatur MacArthur 0
Devin Thomas
went 3-for-3 and Andrew Fiaush pitched a three-hitter in the six-inning victory.

Centennial 5, Urbana 1
Cameron Hodge
allowed two hits and no walks while striking out nine in six scoreless innings for Centennial.

Normal University 13, Mahomet-Seymour 3
Billy Mote
was a home run shy of the cycle, Ryan Poland doubled twice and singled and Matt Mosele went 2-for-3 with three RBI for University.

Wheaton North 7, Wheaton Warrenville South 6
Ryan Kocher
went 2-for-2 with three RBI, including a two-run single in the four-run fifth that gave North a 7-4 lead. Sam Lawrence struck out 10 in six innings for the Falcons.

Lake Park 5, Hoffman Estates 4
Colin Fowich
drove in three runs and Joe Amore went 2-for-3 with two runs for the Lancers. A.J. Ackerley got the win in relief. Fowich pitched a perfect seventh for the save.

York 8, Addison Trail 4
Cam Fowler
went 3-for-3 and Matt Riecker and Cole Miller drove in two runs apiece for the Dukes.

Dundee-Crown 9, Crystal Lake Central 8
Patrick Harvey’s
RBI single in the bottom of the seventh gave the Chargers a walk-off win.

Crystal Lake South 13, Conant 0
Luke Dunham
allowed two hits in five scoreless innings and Griffin Bright had three hits for the Gators.

Grant 7, Antioch 2
James Pendley
had two hits and three RBI and Bryan Libby allowed five hits in the complete-game victory.

Kenwood 4, Holy Trinity 3
Devon Tukes singled home Justin Hardiman with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Sonny Powell allowed one earned run on three hits in the complete-game victory.

West Chicago 4, Bartlett 3
Garrett Hosticka
pitched a complete game and Rob Szulczewski had two hits and two RBI in the victory. Scott Palmer drove in two runs for Bartlett.

St. Charles East 9, Batavia 2
Austin Gift
went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Saints.

Glenbard East 7, West Aurora 5
Michael Sebby
struck out 11 and allowed one earned run in 6⅓ for the Rams. He also had two RBI.

Shepard 6, Evergreen Park 2
Shaun King
struck out 13 in a complete game for Evergreen Park.

Leyden 3, Willowbrook 1
Michael Wilms’
two-run double in the top of the eighth broke a scoreless tie. Adrian Perez allowed just two hits in 7⅔ innings for the win and Jeremy Borges got the final out for the save.

Manteno 1, Reed-Custer 0
Kyle Mansfield’s
RBI double with two outs in the bottom of the eighth won it for Manteno. Nick Crowe allowed five hits in 6⅓ and Easton Bertrand retired all five batters he faced to record the win.
