Palatine 8, No. 1 Jacobs 7
Danny Amato
scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth as Palatine handed Jacobs its second loss in three games since elevating to the top of the rankings. Zach Oles went 3-for-4 with two RBI, including a run-scoring single in the seventh as the Pirates scored twice to force extra innings. Danny Schneberger homered in the victory. Mike Addante hit a home run for Jacobs.

Andrean (IN) 9, No. 3 St. Laurence 5
Jake Diaz
hit a two-run homer in the loss. Jack Cavanaugh went 2-for-4 with two RBI for the Vikings.

No. 4 Brother Rice 12, DePaul Prep 0
Mike Massey
hit a home run and fell a double shy of the cycle for Brother Rice. Brett Bagus went 3-for-3 and Jack Guzek had four RBI in the victory.

No. 5 St. Rita 5, Fenwick 4
Mateo Zunica
bunted home Colan Fitzgerald with the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh. Matt Verdun got the win in relief for St. Rita. David Gleaves had two hits, two runs and an RBI in the victory. Jack Hendricks went 3-for-3 with a two-run double and three RBI for Fenwick.

No. 8 St. Charles North 20, Larkin 0
John Legare
and Conor Bizik hit home runs for the North Stars.

No. 9 Providence 5, De La Salle 4
Jackson Stulas
and Colin Airola had run-scoring singles in the top of the eighth for Providence. Mike Madej and Jackson Dvorak each went 2-for-3 and Matt Trzesnewski got the win with two innings of scoreless relief.

No. 13 Normal Community 16, Peoria 0
Storm SImmons
homered and drove in five runs for the Ironmen.

No. 16 St. Francis 14, St. Joseph 6
Mike Beach
hit a three-run homer and Foster Heise went 2-for-3 with three RBI for St. Francis. Liam Poe had two hits, including one of St. Francis’ six doubles.

No. 17 Oak Park 14, Morton 9
Dali Durazo
homered, doubled and had three RBI for the Huskies. Andrew Hennings went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI in the victory.

No. 22 Lemont 17, Argo 2
Casey O’Brien
went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and Jack Small (3-for-4) had two doubles and three RBI for Lemont. Nate Madej struck out eight in five innings of three-hit ball for the win.

No. 25 Plainfield South 3, Plainfield Central 2
Jordan Mikel
hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth then shut down Central in the seventh to finish off his 2.2 innings of relief with a win.

Niles Notre Dame 12, No. 24 Prospect 6
Kevin Garcia
went 4-for-4 and Ranko Stevanovic and Tim Simon hit home runs for the Dons. Matt Krogstad added two hits and three RBI in the victory.

Naperville North 4, Lake Park 3
Jack Whitley
allowed four hits in 6 ⅔ innings and Matt Pilatsch struck out the only batter he faced for the save. Matt Schwartz had a two-run double in the three-run first for North.

Metea Valley 2, Wheaton North 1
Jack Feeley
had an RBI triple and scored on Jack Dziewiatkowski’s single as Metea put up two runs in the fourth inning. Joey Coryell allowed a run on four hits in 5 ⅔ and Trey Long recorded the final four outs for the save.

Neuqua Valley 12, Wheaton Warrenville South 7
James Gargano
doubled, tripled and had four RBI and Kevin Ringlein went 4-for-5 in the victory. Will Drake had two hits and four RBI for Neuqua.

Lyons 7, Willowbrook 6
Emilio Guitron had an RBI double and the Lions made the most of their four hits off Willowbrook pitchers Ronnie Reitz, Will Hines and Scott Kohrt.

Downers Grove South 13, York 3
Danny Oriente
went 3-for-3 with five RBI and Nick Stacey went 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs for South.

Minooka 5, Plainfield East 1
Brad Van Asdlen
pitched a three-hitter as Minooka completed a three-game sweep. Nick Airola went 3-for-4 and Logan O’Brien had two hits and scored two runs in the victory.

Stagg 6, Lincoln-Way East 5
Ryan O’Connell
hit a solo home run in the fifth inning to break a 5-5 tie. Nick Worst went the distance for Stagg, allowing one earned run on four hits with four strikeouts and one walk.

Lincoln-Way West 10, Thornridge 0
Nick Tuminello
and Mike Latek pitched a combined no-hitter for West. Tuminello struck out six and walked one in three innings.

Oak Lawn 5, Bremen 0
Chad Cwik
struck out nine in six innings of two-hit ball for Oak Lawn. John Roberts went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI in the victory.

Olympia 1, Mahomet-Seymour 0
Andy Davis
pitched eight no-hit innings in relief and Olympia finally broke through in the 13th inning to win in the resumption of a suspended game. Davis struck out seven and walked five.

Bradley Hamilton
went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Alex Jackson struck out 10 and allowed four hits in the six-inning victory.

St. Joseph-Ogden 6, Rantoul 5
Aaron Schluter
homered and Mason Coon struck out 10 in six innings for St. Joseph. Colton Carr had two hits.

Centennial 11, Urbana 0
Luke Smith
struck out 10 in five innings and went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Barrington 2, Huntley 0
Levi Palomo
and Brett Budzak combined on the shutout and Jacob Chapman homered for the Broncos. Palomo allowed four hits and no walks in 5⅔.

Loyola 11, Bishop McNamara 1
Thomas Smart
went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs and Ryan Lin-Peistrup had three RBI for the Ramblers.

Montini 7, Marmion 6
Jack Gerberich
had three hits, Jack Rosley added two hits and two RBI and Montini scored three in the fifth and two in the sixth to overcome a 6-2 deficit.

Glenbard South 14, Timothy Christian 13
Down 13-5 heading to the bottom of the fifth, Glenbard South stormed back behind Lucas Lorusso (5-for-6, HR), Sean Cooke (4-for-4) and Kyle Zygadto, who had a two-run triple in the six-run fifth and a walk-off single in the seventh.

St. Charles East 6, Batavia 2
Steve Podany
went the distance, allowing six hits and a walk while striking out six, as East took the rubber game of the Upstate Eight series. Kyle Tiltges went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the victory.

Bartlett 4, West Chicago 0
Mike Prang
pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and Austin Silvert went 3-for-3 with a triple for Bartlett.

West Aurora 11, Glenbard East 5
Jake Lipscomb
went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs and Cody Wyeth had two doubles and four RBI for West Aurora.  

Evanston 5, New Trier 4
Charlie Bailey’s
two-run single in the top of the seventh broke a 3-3 tie.

Maine South 10, Glenbrook South 9
David Fleita
hit a home run and had five RBI and Maine South withstood seventh-inning homers by Glenbrook South’s Jack Szafranski and Medin Milla. Andrew Lynn had a two-run triple in the top of the seventh for Maine South.

Glenbrook North 7, Highland Park 0
Michael Leibow’s
five-hit shutout kept the Spartans unbeaten in CSL North play. He struck out three and walked none.

Niles North 3, Deerfield 1
Cameron Benesch
pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and three walks for North. Mike Edmond had a two-run single.

St. Viator 7, Benet 4
Bobby Perna
had two hits, two runs and an RBI and Alex Prazuch drove in two for the Lions.

Aurora Central Catholic 5, Walther Christian 1
Sean Sinisko
had a two-run double in the four-run first inning for Aurora Central Catholic. Jimmy Laurenti had two hits in the victory.

Burlington Central 4, Genoa-Kingston 3
David Lauber
doubled and scored the winning run on an error in the top of the 10th for Burlington Central. Clay Milas and Anthony Larson combined for three scoreless innings in relief of Burlington Central starter Kyle Creadon.

Stevenson 11, Rolling Meadows 1
Dylan Molek, Charlie Ling and Jack Cappalli all tripled as Stevenson banged out 11 hits in the five-inning victory.

Warren 5, Brooks 2
Winning pitcher Jordan Litke had two hits and an RBI and Jack McCullough drove in two for the Blue Devils.

Mundelein 10, Solorio 0
Johnny Buckner
and Jeff Morton combined on a no-hitter for the Mustangs.

Antioch 10, Crystal Lake Central 0
Dylan Rathbun
pitched a two-hitter and Alex Unekis hit a home run for the Sequoits.

Yorkville 11, Sycamore 5
Brendon Reifteck
went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for the Foxes. Lucas Farren had three hits in the victory.

Evergreen Park 11, T.F. South 1
Dan Reynolds
went 3-for-3 with a double and a triple and Jimmy Smyth homered in the victory. Pat Doran struck out seven and allowed four hits in five innings.

Lena-Winslow 7, Warren/Stockton 3
Chris Stockton
had two hits, three RBI and three runs for Lena-Winslow. Brett Sisler struck out nine in the complete-game victory.

Johnsburg 17, Marengo 0
Chris Krennrich
homered and Nico LoDolce and Adam Jayko each had three of Johnsburg’s 18 hits.
