Austin Tittle hit a solo home run and Lemont outhit its opponent 8-4 in the loss. Garrett Acton pitched well but came up on the short end because of a fourth-inning three-run homer by John McKenna.

Lockport 10, Ballard (KY) 5
Gavin Lovesky and Stephen Hill hit home runs for the Porters. Anthony Cocco and Ryne Travis had two hits apiece in the victory.

Morton 6, Metamora 0
Vinni Massaglia allowed two hits in six scoreless innings and hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the first for Morton.

Peoria Notre Dame 1, Brimfield 0
Luke Shadid pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks for Notre Dame. Tyler Short came out on the short end of the pitcher’s duel, allowing a run on seven hits in six innings.

Dunlap 10, Pekin 0
Charlie Mangieri allowed one hit in five innings and drove in two runs for Dunlap. Evan Fairfield went 3-for-3 in the victory.
