Plainfield Central 2, Lincoln-Way Central 0
Brandon Callender
allowed just one hit in six innings and Plainfield Central pushed across runs in the second and third innings. Callender struck out seven and walked one, and Nick Pratt got the final three outs for the save. Matt Bunetta went 3-for-3 in the victory.

No. 11 O’Fallon 3, Alton Marquette 0
Bradley Harrison
hit a two-run homer and combined with Max Schaefer and Logan Boente on a three-hitter with one walk and seven strikeouts. Harrison struck out four in two perfect innings.

Maroa-Forsyth 12, Edinburg 2
Cooper Hitchins went 3-for-3
and Braden Willoughby struck out eight in four no-hit innings for Maroa-Forsyth. Willoughby also tripled, singled and had two RBI.

Libertyville 6, Palatine 4
Daniel Marks
and Tim Calamari had RBI singles in the five-run sixth inning that gave Libertyville a 6-0 lead. Neither starting pitcher, Charlie Van Dyke of Palatine and Libertyville’s Riley Gowen, gave up an earned run.

Mahomet-Seymour 12, Oakwood 2
Tom Kenney
and Scott Metzger went a combined 7-for-7 with six RBI and a home run apiece in the victory. Metzger also doubled twice, while Kenney scored four runs.

Manteno 15, Rich Central 4
Winning pitcher Mason Crews went 2-for-3 with two RBI. He also pitched four scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out seven.

Mt. Vernon 4, Pinckneyville 1
Aaren Morgan
doubled three times in three at-bats and had two RBI for Mt. Vernon. Darick Hayes went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the victory. Winning pitcher Quinton Kujawa struck out six in four innings.

Niles West 4, Lane 1
Sammy Butera
scattered six hits in a complete-game victory and hit a home run for the Wolves.

Geneseo 4, Rockridge 1
Marshall Rice
allowed one hit in four innings and Eric Westerlund drove in two runs for Geneseo.
