The weather is finally starting to somewhat cooperate and yesterday a few games from across the state took place, including the start of the Metro East Kickoff Classic. Ben Schroeder went the distance on a three-hitter and went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Quincy.

Harrisburg 18, Hardin County 1
Presley Gauch and Isaac Crabb combined for six hits and nine RBI in the four-inning victory.
