Greg Ziegler
went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI for the Hilltoppers. Antonio Saldana allowed three hits in five innings, striking out seven and walking two to earn the win.

Nathan Yusko
pitched 5 ⅓ perfect innings with seven strikeouts and Connor Simnich finished off the no-hitter for Plainfield Central. Simnich struck out three and walked two in 1⅔. Yusko also drove in two runs and Kyle Cockrell went 3-for-3 with two doubles.

Andrew Hoffman
struck out six in three innings, David Salazar had two hits and Josh Schuetz drove in two runs for East.

St. Joseph-Ogden 5, Marmion 2
Colton Hale
and Mason Coon combined on a two-hitter with 16 strikeouts in the victory. Marty Wright had two hits and two RBI.

St. Joseph-Ogden 20, West Central 1
Colton Hale
and Jesse Schlueter had three hits apiece for St. Joseph.

Breese Central 8, Collinsville 4
Kolby Schulte, Jensen Lake
and Griffin Kuse had three hits apiece in the victory.

Breese Central 7, Collinsville 5
Dalton Wise
and Matt Walters each drove in two runs and Kolby Schulte had two hits and scored twice for Central.

Salem 5, Teutopolis 3
Dalton Courtright
pitched a four-hitter and did not allow an earned run in the complete-game victory. Brendan Boles had three hits and Nate Roth drove in a pair for Salem.

Ethyn Dust
allowed one hit in four innings and Lane Belleville and Eric Kremer drove in two runs apiece in the victory.

Alton 6, Murphysboro 5
Steven Pattan’s
two-run single with one out in the bottom of the seventh won it for Alton. Steven Nguyen allowed one hit in two scoreless innings of relief for the win. Ben Mossman singled twice in two at-bats and scored two runs for Alton.

and Simon Nguyen had two hits and two RBI apiece for Alton.

Mattoon 9, Danville 8
Garrett Branson’s
two-run single tied it and Brock Moncel’s RBI single won it as Mattoon rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Branson and Moncel drove in three runs apiece.

Mattoon 5, Danville 1
Tucker Rappe
allowed one unearned run on three hits in the complete-game victory. Gunner Laughhun and Brock Moncel had two RBI apiece.

Quincy 12, Quincy Notre Dame 0
Drake Green
struck out eight, walked one and allowed three hits in the five-inning shutout. Derek Green had two doubles and Alex Harbin hit a home run for Quincy.

Walther Christian 5, Northridge Prep 1
Jeremiah Canada
homered, doubled and drove in two runs and Frankie Garcia struck out 10 in the victory. Brennan Fisher added two hits and three RBI for Walther Christian.

Kenwood 14, Rock Island 4
Jaylen Patterson
homered and drove in three and Taylor Jackson had three hits and three RBI for Kenwood.

Clinton 13, Heyworth 3
Mac Hickman
had two hits and two RBI for Clinton.

Stagg 10, Romeoville 5
Mike Tobin
had two hits, scored two runs and drove in three for Stagg. Ryan O’Connell and Nick Campbell had two hits apiece in the victory.

Carlyle 6, Flora 4
Winning pitcher Noah Crocker hit a tie-breaking two-run homer in the top of the eight for Carlyle. He scattered four hits in 4⅓ innings of relief. Dru Johnson also homered in the victory.

Dunlap 6, Eureka 1
Charlie Mangieri
allowed a run on three hits in five innings and Taylor Catton had two hits and drove in three runs for Dunlap.

Dunlap 13, Elmwood/Brimfield 0
Taylor Catton
and Nate Hinnen combined on a five-inning no-hitter. Catton struck out seven and walked one in four innings, and Hinnen struck out the side in the fifth.

Midland 4, Greenfield/Northwestern 2
Will Holler
struck out seven in 3⅓ innings and had two hits for Midland.

Crystal Lake South 10, IC Catholic 1
Six pitchers combined on a five-inning no-hitter for Crystal Lake South. Eddie Cubit drove in two runs for the Gators.

Geneseo 1, Freeport 0
Marshall Rice
struck out five in three perfect innings and Braden Ries and Braden Robinson finished off the shutout. Kyle Wise doubled home Keaton Rice with the game’s lone run in the fourth inning.

Geneseo 9, Freeport 5
Keaton Rice
and Cade Humphries had two hits apiece and Marshall Rice had two RBI for Geneseo.

Brimfield 7, Eureka 1
Ethan Jehle
went 3-for-3 and allowed a run on three hits in three innings for Brimfield.

Auburn 9, Hillsboro 5
Ben Johnson
went 3-for-4 and scored three runs in the victory.

Jacksonville 9, Richwoods 3
Adam Hillis
went 4-for-4 and Jacksonville erupted for six runs in the top of the ninth. Levi Parkevich allowed one hit in five innings to earn the win in relief.
