Bobby Seymour belted a two-run homer and Diego Munoz allowed a run on one hit in four innings in the season-opener for the Caravan.

Oswego East 7, DeKalb 4
Mason Madalinski pitched five innings of three-hit ball, striking out six and walking one, and Sean Schumacher singled, doubled and had two RBI for the Wolves.

Winnebago 9, Illinois Valley Central 1
Bryce Bryden allowed five hits in the complete-game victory and belted a two-run double in the five-run third inning. Scott Schneider added two hits, two runs and an RBI for Winnebago.

Loyola 12, St. Patrick 0
Rich Campbell and Ben Wagner combined on a one-hitter with no walks in the six-inning victory. Trey Torain had two hits, two RBI and scored three runs for the Ramblers.
