Reid Detmers
pitched a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts and two walks. Glenwood manufactured the game’s lone run following Logan Cody’s leadoff single in the fourth inning.

No. 9 O’Fallon 8, Columbia 3
Hayden Juenger’s
three-run double in the second inning gave O’Fallon the lead for good. Hayden Schaefer tripled, drew three walks and scored two runs in the victory.

Rob Walik, Joe Theodore
and Ryan Jirik combined on a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks. Nate Madej had three hits and Marcus Ambroziak had two hits and scored two runs in the victory.

No. 14 Edwardsville 12, Greenville 1
Kade Burns, Zach Seavers
and Tyler Lewis teamed up for a five-inning no-hitter for Edwardsville. Joel Quinn doubled twice and had four RBI.

No. 17 Huntley 14, Belvidere North 3
Brad Model
and Eric Maurer had two hits and two RBI apiece for the Red Raiders.

No. 19 Cary-Grove 3, Prospect 2
Zach Willis
had an RBI single then Cary-Grove scored two runs on an error to upend Prospect with three in the bottom of the seventh. Four Trojans pitchers combined on a two-hitter, including Quinn Priester, who struck out six in three hitless innings.

No. 20 New Trier 7, Stevenson 4
New Trier beat Stevenson 7-4 yesterday at Kerry Wood Field in freezing weather.
Thomas Nugent was the WP, pitching 2 innings and striking out 3. Kevin Donahue was 2-2 with 2 RBI’s.

Lincoln-Way West 6, No. 23 Marist 0
Connor Lowman
struck out seven in four innings of two-hit ball for West.

No. 24 Morton 13, Bloomington 4
Tucker Anderson
homered and drove in five and Logan Peterson went 3-for-3 with three RBI in the victory.

St. Lucie West (Fla.) 3, No. 25 Centennial 0

Oak Park 4, Joliet Catholic 2
Winning pitcher Roy Iverson’s RBI double was the big blow as Oak Park scored three times in the top of the seventh to erase Joliet Catholic’s 2-1 lead. Iverson threw three hitless innings of relief to finish off a combined one-hitter with Brendan Barrette.

Minooka 8, Morris 0
Jon Butler
went 3-for-3 with two RBI and pitched the final inning of a combined one-hitter with Tyler Talbot and Devin Smith. Talbot struck out nine in four hitless innings for the win.

Plainfield East 7, Downers Grove North 1
Logan Schmitt
pitched five innings of three-hit ball and Dalton Crowder had a two-run triple for East.

Plainfield Central 7, West Aurora 5
Joey Michaud
went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Plainfield Central survived West Aurora’s four-run rally in the top of the seventh. Kyle Cockrell allowed an unearned run on four hits in six innings for the win.

Glenbard West 9, Wheaton Academy 6
Ryan Peterson
had two hits and two RBI as Glenbard West rallied for four in the top of the sixth and three in the seventh. Sam Fenske allowed one hit in three scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.

York 4, Glenbard East 1
Burke Corcoran, Austin Gelsomino
and Zach Pflum combined on a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks for the Dukes. Gelsomino went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run.

St. Viator 6, Elk Grove 1
Cole Kmet
went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in the victory. Casey Kmet added two hits and scored two runs.

Prairie Ridge 13, Wauconda 8
Zach Teegen
doubled, tripled and had three RBI and Zach Gulbransen went 3-for-3 in the victory.

Normal West 3, Pekin 0
Peyton Dillingham
pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk and West made the most of its two hits, doubles by Nick Watson and Alex Hoss, off Pekin starter Righi Nathan.

Bremen 3, Romeoville 0
Colin Walton
and Mike Fuentes pitched a combined no-hitter with 16 strikeouts and one walk. Walton struck out nine in four perfect innings for the win.

Washington 2, Olympia 1
Mason Diederich
stole third and scored the tie-breaking run on an error in the top of the sixth. He survived two hits in the bottom of the seventh to save the victory for Max Tracy, who struck out three in two innings of scoreless relief.

Willowbrook 13, Glenbard South 0
M.J. Ranieri
went 3-for-3 with six RBI and Ryan Mintz allowed three hits in four scoreless innings for Willowbrook.

Glenbard North 2, Addison Trail 1
Zach Bachara
had an RBI single and came home on an error as North rallied for two runs in the top of the sixth. Bachara allowed one hit in 3⅓ innings to earn the victory in relief, and Mike Weilman recorded the final two outs for the save.

Peoria Heights 3, Deer-Creek Mackinaw 1
Rylee Miller
hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to put himself in position to pick up the win with two innings of scoreless relief. Peoria Heights starter Ty Webb struck out seven in five innings of three-hit ball.

Monticello 12, Arthur 0
Mitch Carr
pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and one walk in the five-inning victory.

Illini Bluffs 4, Astoria/VIT 0
Taylor Bruninga
struck out 11 in five one-hit innings and Illini Bluffs broke it open with three runs in the top of the seventh. Cam Scott struck out four in two innings for the save.

Downers Grove South 2, Wheaton North 1
Five Downers Grove South pitchers combined on a two-hitter, including Andrew Alfini, who struck out the side in the fourth to pick up the win.

Highland Park 11, Niles Notre Dame 1
Henry Singer
went 4-for-4 and Tyler Gussis had three hits and four RBI in the victory.

Hinsdale South 6, Richards 2
Charlie Klemm
went 2-for-2 with three RBI and John Stoltz homered for Hinsdale South. John Colucci allowed one hit in four scoreless innings to win it in relief.

Stagg 8, Reavis 2
Nick Campbell
went 2-for-2 with two RBI and Ryan O’Connell had two hits and scored three runs for Stagg.

Jacobs 9, Zion-Benton 4
Ryan McGorian
homered and had four RBI for Jacobs.

Woodstock North 6, Larkin 4
Corey Busse
had a three-run double as North built a 6-0 lead and held on.

Evergreen Park 6, Bloom 2
Shaun Quinn
struck out 10 in four innings of one-hit ball and Declyn Smyth had two hits and scored three runs in the victory.

Burlington Central 9, Sycamore 7
Matt Termini’s
two-run double in the bottom of the sixth broke a 7-7 tie. Ryan Knowlton homered in the victory.

Tri-Valley 5, Salt Fork 4
Austin Weichman’s
RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh was the difference. He went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs.

Woodstock 3, Antioch 2
Joey Brown
drew two walks and scored two runs as Woodstock made the most of its two hits. Brown pitched a scoreless seventh inning to save the victory for John Kubacha, who allowed an earned run on two hits while striking out eight in six innings.

Dundee-Crown 5, Schaumburg 3
Ryan Denz
had two hits and scored two runs and Erik Hedmark drove in two runs for Dundee-Crown.

Springfield Southeast 2, Rochester 1
Makai Gant
pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and drove home the winning run with a single in the bottom of the seventh.

Grayslake North 5, Vernon Hills 1
Chris Kelly
and Nate Marshall had RBI singles as North made the most of its two hits.

Geneseo 8, Alleman Catholic 7
Cade Humphries
had three hits, including a walkoff single as Geneseo answered Alleman’s three runs in the top of the 10th with four in the bottom of the inning.

Bradley-Boubonnais 2, Herscher 1
Tyler Guertin
allowed an unearned run on six hits in 6⅓ innings and Tyler Jasmin struck out the only two batters he faced for the save.

Bolingbrook 19, Naperville North 4
Jordan Jackson
went 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBI and Dylan Crouse and Cameron Falk drove in three runs apiece for the Raiders.

Hinsdale Central 11, Conant 2
Travis Pelton
and Andrew Zapka hit home runs for Hinsdale Central.

Westmont 6, IC Catholic 5
Joe Donovan
homered, doubled twice and drove in three runs as Westmont stormed back from a 5-0 deficit.

Oswego East 3, St. Francis 1
B.J. Graves
went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Shane Schatz struck out five and walked none in three innings of relief to save the victory for Daniel Nelson.

Robert Archbold
had two hits and drove in four runs and Riley Kocen struck out five in four innings for the Blue Devils.
