No. 5 Plainfield North 17, Plainfield East 5
Josh Garner picked up the win on the mound and went 4-for-5 with four RBI and four runs scored for the Tigers. Alex Steinbach went 2-for-4 with a home run for North. Michael Sullivan went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the loss.

No. 6 Mount Carmel 11, Marmion 1
Connor Spear
scattered six hits in five innings to improve to 7-0. Jake Lenti went 3-for-3 in the victory. Bobby Seymour and Zion Pettigrew had two RBI apiece.

No. 9 St. Rita 8, St. Francis 1
Jake Zylman
went 3-for-3 and Steve Washilewski struck out six in five innings for the win. Charlie Rodriguez went 2-for-2 with three RBI and Cal Greenfield added two hits and scored two runs for the Mustangs.

No. 10 Providence 10, Loyola 1
Jimmy Jeffries
went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Kurt Dankovich allowed three hits in six scoreless innings for the Celtics. Colin Airola added three hits and two RBI.

Lockport 7, No. 12 Sandburg 1
Ben Davis
allowed an unearned run on six hits in the complete-game victory. He struck out six and walked two and Joey McGuire went 2-for-2 for the Porters.

No. 14 Lemont 15, Evergreen Park 2
Garrett Acton
went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBI and Lemont scored 10 runs in the top of the first. Ryan Sublette struck out seven in four innings for Lemont.

Wheaton North 9, No. 23 Naperville Central 1
Casey Becker
allowed six hits and struck out eight in the complete-game victory. Ryan Muehfelt went 3-for-4 and scored three runs and Pat Leahy and Jake Barry drove in three apiece.

Marian Catholic 9, Joliet Catholic 0
Mark DiLuia
hit two home runs and had five RBI for Marian Catholic. Matt Mulhearn pitched five innings of four-hit ball for the win. Christian Beal had three hits and two RBI in the victory.

Carmel 11, Marian Central 0
Eddie Pietschmann
went 2-for-2 with three RBI and Griffin Norton pitched four scoreless innings in the five-inning victory.

Oswego 7, Minooka 5
Gabe Panza
had three hits, including a two-run double that broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the 10th. Mike Dato added three hits for Oswego. The teams traded runs in the eighth.

Waubonsie Valley 10, Naperville North 4
Joe Spano
went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Nick Price doubled twice and scored two runs for Waubonsie. Quinton Zielke added two hits and two RBI in the victory.

Metea Valley 5, Glenbard North 0
Matt Vass
pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and Anthony Greco had an RBI triple in the victory.

Palatine 3, Schaumburg 2
Anthony Portera’s
RBI double in the top of the sixth broke the 2-2 tie. Charile Van Dyke went the distance for the Pirates, allowing two unearned runs on four hits while striking out nine and walking none.

Fremd 8, Barrington 2
Charlie Kaye
went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Fremd jumped out to an 8-0 lead after three innings. Eric Bennes went the distance for the victory.

Conant 7, Hoffman Estates 5
Jimmy Brady
and Logan Smith had two hits and two RBI apiece for the Cougars.

Elk Grove 10, Prospect 3
Christian Camacho
struck out 11 in the complete-game victory and had three of the Grenadiers’ 15 hits. Jack McEnroe had two hits and two RBI for the Grenadiers.

Wheeling 6, Rolling Meadows 5
D.J. Godlewski
drew a walk-off walk in the bottom of the eighth as Wheeling scored single runs in each of the final five innings to rally from a 4-1 deficit. Patrick Cooney pitched all eight innings and Christian Hubbard had two hits and scored two runs for the Wildcats.

Tanner Luke
pitched a five-inning one-hitter and went 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Huskies. Luke LaSalvia added two hits and three RBI.

David Schmidt
pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks and Tyler Pennington homered and doubled for the Trojans.

Hampshire 9, Grayslake Central 8
Michael Kruse, Pawel Barnas
and Kevin Michaelsen had RBI singles in Hampshire’s four-run sixth.

Grant 7, Lakes 1
Bryan Libby
pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and Ben Kusian went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI for Grant.

De La Salle 5, Montini 1
Tommy Duddleston
pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and Josh Figueroa hit a three-run homer for the Meteors.

St. Ignatius 7, Bishop McNamara 1
Sophomore Will McManaman struck out seven in six scoreless innings of three-hit ball to run his record to 7-2. Mike Brady went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBI.

Rochester 2, Glenwood 1
Tyler Fitzgerald’s
two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth was the difference. Sam Baker struck out six and allowed six hits in five scoreless innings for the win.

Sacred Heart-Griffin 10, Springfield Lanphier 0
Devin Thomas
had three hits and Sam Sargeant and Logan Tate had two hits and two RBI apiece for the Cyclones.

Mahomet-Seymour 6, Eureka 4
Brooks Coetzee
homered, doubled and singled and Ryan Harrison went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the victory.

Metamora 7, Pekin 1
Geremy Guerrero
struck out seven and walked none in five innings of three-hit ball and Kyle Bartman went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the victory. Tyler Hall doubled twice and drove in a pair for Metamora.

Joe Polowsky
pitched a two-hitter with two strikeouts and no walks and went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Dukes.

St. Charles East 6, Elgin 0
Nico Klebosits
allowed four hits while striking out six and walking none in six innings for the Saints.

pitched a three-hitter with two strikeouts and no walks for the Rams. Richard Masciopinto went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

drove in two runs and six Stevenson pitchers combined on a one-hitter.

went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for the Foxes.
