4A SECTIONAL SEMIFINAL GAMES

No. 6 Brother Rice 4, No. 2 St. Rita 0
Ryan Kutt struck out 11 in 5 ⅔ innings of three-hit ball to lead Brother Rice into the Class 4A St. Laurence Sectional final. Kutt added an RBI single and Andy Lopez hit a run-scoring double as the Crusaders did all their damage in the third inning. Jack Guzek went 2-for-2 and scored a run in the victory. Brother Rice will take on No. 4 St. Laurence for the sectional championship on Saturday morning in Burbank.
