Branden Comia, SS, Sandburg, 2018
Illinois

Branden Comia1.17.16 - 5-foot-11, 185-pound infielder, thick build with strength, stocky frame. One of the top prospects in Illinois’ 2018 class, premium bat. Right-handed hitter, confident setup, hitterish in the box, smooth athletic loading action, leg lift stride, excellent balance through contact. Loose hands with easy bat speed, explosive bat, good hand eye, path gets extension, stays through the hitting zone. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively has confident hands on the infield, natural defender, plays well on the move, knack to make the tough play. Arm action is short and loose, athletic arm action, strong arm to stick on the left side, 83 mph across the diamond. 7.27 runner in the 60. Comia is a high-follow 2018 who is still on the board, his premium bat is likely to stick at third or second base at the next level and bring an aggressive and high IQ game to the diamond.

Mike Addante, OF, Jacobs, 2017
Nebraska

Mike Addante10.18.15 - Currently ranked No. 30 in the Illinois Class of 2017. 5-foot-10, 155-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, with present strength. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top arm slot. Fluid, athletic actions with a clean exchange, while playing thru the ball. Reads hops well, with soft, sure hands. Showed off plus arm strength throwing 88 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from a tall, slightly open stance with a high hand set away from the body. Explosiveness in the lower half with good balance and fluid rhythm. Line drive hitter with an advanced approach at the plate. Plus strength thru contact with 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. 6.84 runner in the 60.

John Rugen, 1B, LaSalle Peru, 2016
Central College (IA)

John Rugen7.8.15 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound corner infielder. Offensively hits from right side with tall and balanced setup, no load, no stride, average bat speed, fair approach, long level path, and line drive type. Exit velo 81 mph. Defensively, long arm action form ¾ slot, some accuracy, and some carry on ball. Threw 75 mph across infield.
