Stephen Mogged, OF, Lakes Community, 2017
Southern Illinois

Stephen Mogged7.15.15 - 5-foot-11, 160-pound, right-handed hitter with loads of athleticism. Ran a 6.67 60-time. Defensively, threw 88 mph from the outfield. Feet worked quick and fluid. Flashed ability to play through the ball. Long arm action, high ¾ slot with some accuracy and carry. Offensively, exit velocity clocked at 87 mph off of a tee. Starts from a balanced set up, smooth load back, short stride and above-average balance. Flashed bat speed combined with a long and level swing path.


Nathaniel Segura, C, St. Patrick, 2016

Adrian College (MI)

Nathaniel Segura8.7.15 - 5-foot-9, 200-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. Offensively hits from a tall, narrow setup with a low hand set. Long stride with strength and leverage thru contact. Gap to gap hitter with a long, uphill swing path. Strength thru contact with 89 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.91. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Quick footwork and transfer. Popped 2.11-2.25 and threw 73 mph from the crouch. In game threw out a would be base stealer with a 2.11 in game pop. High energy player on the field.

Sultan Solebo, RHP, Plainfield Central, 2016
Parkland College

Sultan Solebo6.18.15 - 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed pitcher, thick lower half, loose arm. Delivery works directionally, shoulders plane uphill, high front side. Arm action is loose, high ¾ slot. Fastball is mostly straight, four seam, 83-84 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, showed the ability to drop for strikes, 69-72 mph. Changeup showed hard sink, almost like splitter action, thrown with fastball arm speed, 74-75 mph, showed control.



Josh Shaw, 3B, Morgan Park, 2016

Kentucky State

Josh Shaw10.19.14 - 6-foot-1, 172-pound lanky right-handed hitting third baseman/outfielder hits from a tall, narrow, open stance, short stride, short slightly uphill bat path with feel for barrel and some power to his pull side producing 81 mph exit velocity. Defensively, profiles better in the infield thanks to short, high ¾ arm slot with soft hands, clean, fluid actions, playing through the baseball and throwing 81 mph across the diamond. Also threw 81 mph from the outfield, from the same short arm action. Ran a 7.33 60.

Connor Ceglarz, OF, Tinley Park, 2016
South Suburban College

Connor Ceglarz10.11.15 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound, left-handed hitting OF/RHP with an athletic frame. Defensively has a long arm action from a ¾ arm slot. Quick, fluid footwork with a long, clean exchange. Threw 84 mph from the outfield. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load to backside and toe tap stride. Opposite field hitter with a loose quick bat. Showed strength thru contact with 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.31. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action and wrap on the backside. Tall and fall delivery with a closed landing, gets extension out front. Fastball was straight at 82-84 mph. Curveball showed minimal action at 73-76 mph. Changeup flashed fade at 74-75 mph.

Luke McMahon, RHP, Oak Park-River Forest, 2016
UW-Oshkosh

Luke McMahon8.7.15 - 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed pitcher, average lean build. Tall and fall delivery works directionally. Arm action is long and firm, over the top slot. Fastball showed slight run at times, showed the ability to work the bottom of the zone, 81-84 mph. Curveball worked at 69-71 mph, 11/5 plane. Changeup showed some arm speed, 79 mph.

 


Erik Rabin, C, St. Charles North, 2016

Vassar College

Erik Rabin2.16.15 - 5-foot-8, 180-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. Behind the plate has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Online throws with ok footwork. Popped 2.18-2.33 and threw 70 mph from the crouch. At the plate hits from a balanced setup, with a short stride, and average balance. Average bat speed, with a short, uphill swing path. Showed strength with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.51.


Nathan Earl, LHP, Sherrard, 2016

Western Illinois

Nathan Earl10.11.15 - Long slender build, 6-foot-1, 147-pound left-handed pitcher. Showed the ability to repeat delivery while throwing from multiple arm angles. Loose arm played from a variety of slots ranging from side arm to high ¾. Fastball lived in the strike zone with run and sinking action, 74-76 mph, at its lowest slot pithed at 69-72 mph. Breaking ball had action on a 2/8 plane, showed feel, 65-67 mph, sweeping action. Changeup thrown from higher slot, 72 mph, sidearm had fade to it at 66-68 mph. Good follow who showed an ability to change speeds in the strike zone from multiple angles.


Jacob Ahrens, OF, McHenry, 2016

Rend Lake College

Jacob Ahrens10.11.15 - Strong framed right-handed hitting outfielder at 6-foot, 190-pounds. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with simple mechanics and a short stride. Gap to gap hitter with a short, level swing path and good balance. Showed strength thru contact with the second best exit velocity at 95 mph off a tee. Moves well for size running the 60 at 6.99. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top arm slot. Athletic actions, playing thru the ball with fluid footwork and a quick exchange. Threw 86 mph from the outfield.


Nick Santoro, SS, Waubonsie Valley, 2016

UW-Whitewater

Nick Santoro9/20/15 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short load to backside and short stride. Line drive, pull hitter with a fast bat. Looseness in the hands with strong, hard contact. Showed strength thru contact with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.58. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions. Clean exchange with a quick release. Threw 79 mph across the infield.



Kyle Kane, 1B, Nazareth, 2016

Lewis University

4.18.15 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound lanky and athletic left-handed hitting first baseman impressed with pure hitting ability for Nazareth. Hits in the cleanup spot, open setup, short stride, doubled three times in two games, fluid path, high finish. Doubles to center, left center and down the left field line.
