DiLuia has a long, lean and athletic build at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds with plenty of room for continued physical development. He’s a high-ceiling prospect with a clean delivery that’s also athletic and repeatable. He shows excellent rhythm and tempo throughout and the arm works free and easily. It’s loose and quick with minimal effort, coming through a high-3/4 slot. His fastball ranges from 86-88 mph with some arm-side life. He has an advanced feel for his three-pitch mix, which also features a 74-75 slider with more lateral action. His changeup is 79-81 with arm-side sink.
