Underclass Trials: Statistical Analysis

By Phil Kerber

The Underclass Trials took place on Wednesday, June 7th at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, Illinois. The event had over 100 prospects take place in a pro style workout in front of the PBR Scouting Staff. Today we start event analysis with stats story. A number of players have their names littered throughout the top performers. Representatives from Oak Park-River Forest had a strong showing, led by Griffin Holderfield who posted top numbers in three of the four events he participated in. Not far behind Holderfield was Nate Righi (Pekin) who recorded top numbers in the same events. Kyle Crawford (Dixon) solidified his spot as the top defensive catcher at the event, leading the way in pop times and catcher velocity.
