Unsigned Senior Games: Stats Posted

The Prep Baseball Report recently held the Unsigned Senior Games at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox, IL. The event brought out a number of top ranked 2014 prospects who showed much improvement and look to be climbing the ladder.

DJ Lee (Lincoln Way North), Aaron Fuller (St. Rita) and Jaylen Yarbrogh (Bishop Noll, IN) ran the fastest 60 times at 6.75, 6.79 and 6.71 respectively.

Josh Rahn (Schaumburg) looks to have made the biggest jump in the class. Rahn was at the Top Prospect Showcase in June and was 83-85 mph with his fastball. Most recently here at the Unsigned Senior Games Rahn was up to 90 mph sitting at an easy 87-89 mph.

Clay Shourd (Springfield) made similar improvements as the 6-foot-1, 185-pound RHP sat at 86-88 mph with heavy sink after showing an 85-86 mph fastball back in June.

Liam Carter (Highland Park) is a 6-foot-7, 170-pound RHP who we’ve been waiting to see grow into his frame, it looks as though he is on his way to doing just that. Carter did not dip below 87 mph sitting comfortably at 87-88 for two innings with a much more comfortable arm action.
