Santos has an athletic build with strength at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds and shows the ability to play both ways. Santos’ slider has short quick action on a 10/4 plane and showed that he can throw it for strikes. His changeup has sink and also thrown for strikes at 70 mph.

Offensively he hits from a closed stance with a slightly longer stride. He flashes advanced bat speed at 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. Shows excellent pop and makes hard contact consistently. Defensively, Santos shows athleticism around the bag, displays soft hands and his arm has carry and accuracy at 81 mph across the diamond.

Santos is hoping to take full advantage of his opportunity this weekend and says,

“I am looking for a  larger university that has a strong business program and baseball program. My major will be Marketing and Finance . My goal is to succeed on and off the field.”
