The 2015 high school season is just around the corner.  Leading up to the start of the season we are going to take a quick glance at many teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK

The Centerville Bulldogs finished their 2014 campaign 13-12 overall and 5-2 in conference play.  They ended their season with a sectional semi-final loss to Hagerstown.  Head Coach Tracy Crull's team returns six positional starters and four arms this spring.  They are led by senior 1B/RHP Sam Shaw who led the team in RBI and HRs as both a sophomore and Junior.  Matt Stamper, a sophomore OF/SS/RHP, returns for his second season at Centerville.  Stamper led the Bulldogs in stolen bases as a freshman and also served as the team's lead-off hitter.  Crull will look to senior OF Andrew Walter and Junior 2B/RHP Jack Willis for contributions in 2015.  Willis was the team leader in OBP last year as a sophomore.  Junior RHP/C Justyn North appears to be the Bulldogs No. 1 on the mound this spring.  North was second on the team in Ks and IP last year.  Junior OF/LHP Devin Christian is also expected to play a key role for the Bulldogs this season.  Centerville is hoping to compete for both a conference and sectional crown in 2015.
