The 2015 high school season is just around the corner.  Leading up to the start of the season we are going to take a quick glance at many teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK

The Greenwood Woodmen enter the 2015 season with just four returning starters.  Last season was a rough one for the Woodmen as they won just six games on the year, four of those being conference games.  Head coach Andy Bass is counting on three seniors, two Juniors and a sophomore to help lead this year's squad.  Sam Orem, a 3B/RHP, is a 5-foot-10, 165 pound senior that finished 3-2 on the mound last spring with a 1.62 ERA. Junior OF/RHP Reid Werner will be counted on this spring after finishing his sophomore campaign with a .250 BA while going 1-4 on the mound with a 4.09 ERA.  The Woodmen also expect contributions from seniors Tanner Skeel and Brayton Buchanan along with Junior Preston Ley and sophomore Damon Maynard.
