2017 Player Spotlight: LHP Chas Adams

With the 2017 Underclass Preview Showcase coming up on October 18th at Grand Park in Westfield, IN, throughout the next several weeks we are going to highlight some of the top uncommitted 2017 prospects in the Hoosier State.   

Player Name: Chas AdamsChas Adams
High School: Floyd Central
Primary Position: LHP
Grad Year: 2017

Notes: The 6-foot-1, 195 pound southpaw was a member of Team Indiana at this year's Future Games. Adams possesses a fastball that tops out at 87 mph.  At the Future Games he sat more 83-85 with good downward plane.  He pitches from a long, 3/4 arm action with arm speed.  Possesses easy effort with good rhythm throughout the delivery.  Drops the arm angle when throwing his breaking ball to a low 3/4 slot.  Breaking ball shows more of a slurve type action with a big break sitting 65-67.  Changeup was 73-74 with some sink action.  Displays good pitchability.
