4A Top 25

No. 3 Columbus North 3 Shelbyville 1 – Cody Burton struck out 10 in a complete game win allowing one run on three hits. Korry Drum was 1-3 with two RBI, Collin Lollar was 1-2 with two runs, Devin Mann was 1-1, Tyler Finke was 1-2, and Brice McDaniel scored once. 

No. 4 Lake Central 9 Portage 1 – Matt Litwicki threw six shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out four. James Mays was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Colin Studer was 2-2 with a triple, RBI, and three runs, Alex Nisle was 1-3 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs, Ben Nisle was 2-3 with two doubles and a run, and Steven Meyer was 2-2 with a RBI. 

No. 5 Zionsville 4 No. 24 Carmel 1 – Grant Sloan picked up the win throwing five innings allowing one, run three hits, and struck out three. Kellan Ellsbury was 2-3 with a solo homerun, Sloan homered and drove in two, Riley Bertram was 1-3 with a RBI, and Chad Garisek was 2-3 with a double and two runs. 

No. 14 Hamilton Southeastern 10 No. 15 Fishers 1 – Tanner Sizemore threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on seven hits, striking out six. Matt Gorski was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Nick Kiehl was 3-4 with two RBI and a run, JB Washburn was 2-4 with a RBI, and Owen Callahan was 1-2 with a RBI and three runs. 

No. 18 Brownsburg 11 Covenant Christian 1 – Owen Gilbert was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Caleb Sampen double, drove in two, and scored once, Brad Guillinger was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, and Ryan Robbins was 1-1 with a RBI and two runs. Matt Rollyson threw all six innings allowing one run on three hits, striking out five. 

Valpo 5 No. 19 Crown Point 4 – Healy drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Miller was 3-4 with a double, homerun, three RBI, and two runs and Casaday was 2-3 with a double and a run. Casaday got a no decision throwing six innings allowing two runs, six hits, and struck out six. 

Westfield 2 No. 23 Noblesville 1 – Chris Ayers threw five innings allowing one unearned run, six hits, and striking out six. Jackson Bard got the win throwing one shutout, hitless inning and Jacob Robinson got the save, striking out one. Robinson was 3-3, Harrison Freed was 1-4 with a RBI, and Nick Rhodes was 1-2 with two runs.

No. 1 Hanover Central 19 Whiting 0 – Jesse Wilkening was 2-3 with a triple, homerun, three RBI, and three runs, Brandon Sears was 1-3 with three RBI and two runs, Jacob Maish was 1-23 with a double, two RBI and a run, and Graham Umlauf was 1-1 with two RBI and a run. Sears struck out nine in the win, throwing four innings allowing three hits. 

Marian Catholic (IL) 3 No. 2 Andrean 2 

No. 4 Lebanon 16 Western Boone 2 – Caleb Myers was 3-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and four runs, Bryce Shearer was 2-5 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, and Reid Schaller was 2-4 with four RBI and two runs. Grant Johnson was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Zach Dafoe was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, and Nathan Kincaid was 2-3 with four runs. 

FW Canterbury 4 No. 7 Heritage 3 – Curtis Hoffman threw a complete game to get the win, striking out nine. Ben Yurkanin was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Matt Kent was 1-2 with a run, Tommy Filus was 1-3 with a run, and Michael Talaga was 1-4 with a run.

No. 10 Brebeuf 10 2A No. 8 Ritter 0 – Ben Balogh threw all five innings allowing just one hit and striking out six. Justin Hensley was 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Clay Farren was 1-1 with a RBI and two runs, Marshall Farren was 1-2 with a double, RBI, and three runs, and Leo Watson was 1-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs.

 

2A/1A Top 10

No. 1 Wapahani 9 Jay County 4 F/9 – Wapahani scored five runs in the top of the ninth to get the win. Zack Thompson homered and drove in three, Jared Coats had two RBI and a run, Bret Lawson was 2-4 with a RBI, and Austin Martin was 2-3 with two runs. 

No. 3 Knightstown 9 Waldron 0 – Kaleb Kinnaman was 3-5 with a triple and two RBI, Drake Peggs was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Jake Kwisz was 1-4 with two RBI and two runs, and Tyler Hubble was 1-2 with two RBI. Peggs threw three shutout innings, not allowing a hit and striking out six to get the win. 

No. 4 Alexandria 5 Pendleton Heights 4 – Alexandria scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to get the win. Owen Young and Braden Warren each went 2-4 with a RBI, Jonah Jerrills was 1-4 with two RBI, and Jessie Gossett was 2-3 with a double and a run. Braxton Moore threw a complete game to get the win allowing three earned runs. 

No. 6 Rockville 10 North Putnam 1 – Dalton Laney was 2-5 with a double and three RBI, Tyler Rapp was 2-3 with three RBI, Ben Cunningham was 3-4 with three runs, and Cam Helderman was 2-2 with two RBI.

Batesville 12 North Decatur 2 – Brett Westerfeld threw four hitless innings allowing one run and striking out four to get the win. Zach Britton was 3-3 with two double, a homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Leo Enneking was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, Connock Schuck was 1-3 with a RBI, and Jacob Wilson was 3-3 with a run. 

Benton Central 13 Tri-County 4 – Henry Fisher led the offense going 5-5 with three doubles, three RBI, and four runs. Sam Smith was 4-5 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Gabe Barrett was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, and Brett Shoults was 1-3 with a double and two RBI. 

Bishop Dwenger 6 FW Concordia 2 – Noah Freimuth threw 5.1 shutout innings allowing two hit and striking out eight. Sklyer Noll was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Freimuth was 3-4 with two double and two RBI, and Cameron Kahlenbeck was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs. 

Concord 11 Bethany Christian 1 – Jake Vernon had three hits, including a homerun, drove in three runs, and scored twice, Luke Simon had three hits and three runs, and Luke Schrock had two RBI and two runs. 

Culver Academy 15 Culver Comm. 0 – Zach Moffett got the win throwing three innings allowing one hit and striking out six. Pat Samila was 2-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs, Cole Payne was 1-3 with three RBI and a run, Colin Dean was 2-3 with a RBI and three runs, and Moffett was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs. 

Delta 5 Daleville 3 – David Smekens was 1-3 with two RBI, Tanner Lambert was 1-4 with two RBI, Jacob Van Pelt was 2-4, Nick Bantz was 1-2 with a run, and Cade Joines was 1-2 with a RBI and a run. 

Eastern Hancock 8 Centerville 5 – Austin Clutinger picked up the win throwing a complete game allowing four earned and striking out four. Cole Four homered and drove in two, Tom Baarton was 2-3 with two RBI, Addison True was 2-3 with a double and a run, and Garek Ferguson was 1-3 with two runs.  

Eastside 6 Fremont 2 – Ben Fry was 2-4 with a homerun and two RBI, Cade Willard was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Jon Imhoff was 1-3 with two RBI, and Terry Nickolson was 1-2 with a RBI. Jackson White threw a complete game allowing two hits, two unearned runs, and struck out seven. 

Edinburgh 13 Irvington 2 – Zach Murphy was 2-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs, Kevin Johnson was3-4 with a double and a RBI, Zach Smiley was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Jentry Lange was 1-2 with two RBI. Johnson struck out 11 to get the win throwing all five innings allowing one earned and two hits. 

Forest Park 6 Northeast Dubois 1 – Ben Wendholt threw a complete game allowing one unearned run, two hits, and striking out three. Jaxon Cronin was 2-4 with two RBi and a run, David Luck was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, Wendholt was 2-3 with a run, and Eli Knust was 1-2 with a RBI. 

FW Northrop 10 FW Wayne 0 – Alex Manuilow threw a no hitter for all six innings to get the win, striking out six. Zach Piatt was 2-3 with three RBI and a run, Ben Yoss was 1-3 with three RBI, Michael Cage was 1-2 with a RBI and three runs, and Jordan Wixom was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs. 

Hamilton Heights 10 Tipton 0 – Jacob Hammel was 1-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Christian McGill was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and John Fisher was 1-4 with two RBI. Nathan Watson got the win throwing all five innings allowing four hits and striking out five. 

Hammond Clark 13 Wheeler 3 – Rene Zamora was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Carlos Larrea had two RBI and a run, Chris Diaz was 1-3 with three runs, and Zach Bucsko had three runs. 

Lapel 7 Anderson 1 – Kyle Hawkins struck out 10 throwing a complete game allowing one run and one hit. Brady Cherry was 2-2 with a double, RBi, and a run, Cade Luker was 2-4 with a RBI, John Magers was 2-3 with two runs, Austin Begley was 2-4 with two runs, and Chase Sizemore was 2-4 with a run. 

LaPorte 10 Merrillville 0 – Brogan Briggs was 3-3 with a triple, homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Travis Upp hit a solo homerun, Cameren Watt was 2-3 with a RBI, Jon Williams was 1-2 with a RBI and two run, and Jordan Fadke was 1-1 with a RBI and two runs. Jake Teets threw all five innings allowing three hits and striking out four. 

Madison-Grant 6 Anderson Prep 4 – Luke Brown struck out 11 in the win throwing 6.1 innings allowing six hits and no earned runs. Colin Mitchener was 1-4 with a double and a RBI and Levi Bott was 1-2 with a run. 

Michigan City 7 Chesterton 5 – McDaniel got the win throwing a complete game allowing four earned runs, he also went 2-3 with three RBI and a run. 

Mishawaka Marian 5 Jimtown 4 – Riley Triotta had his second double of the game in the bottom of the seventh, this one drove in two runs and gave Marian the win. 

Monrovia 24 Indy Northwest 3 – Dalton Smith was 5-5 with a double, triple, six RBI, and five runs to lead the offense. Eric Judson was 4-4 with a double, five RBI, and a run, Austin Clark was 3-6 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Evan Burgess was 3-6 with a triple, four RBI, and two runs, and Conner Jelley was 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs. 

Morgan Township 8 Knox 2 – Jacob Hernandez was 1-3 with two RBI, Jake Koselk was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Lucas Rochowiack was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Connor Martin was 1-3 with a double and a RBI. Hernandez got the win throwing five innings allowing one run, one hit, and struck out four. 

New Castle 9 Connersville 2 – Kenny Martin was 3-4 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs, Dylan Darling was 3-4 with a RBI and two runs, Taylor Matthews was 2-3 with two RBI, Garrett Welch was 2-3 with two runs, and Jared Heard was 1-1 with a triple, RBI, and a run. 

New Haven 8 South Adams 1 – Hayden Graham was 3-4 with two doubles and two RBI, Owen Doster was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, and Garrett Mohler was 1-2 with a triple, RBI, and two runs. Sean Ferguson threw four shutout innings to get the win allowing two hits and striking out six. 

New Palestine 6 Perry Meridian 4 – Patrick Hopkins picked up the win throwing five innings allowing two runs on four hits. Keegan Watson was 2-3 with a RBI, Jason Hall-Manley was 1-2 with a RBI, Braden Roberts was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, Evan Hickman had two RBI, and Cody Chandler was 2-4 with a run. 

North Knox 3 Eastern Greene 2 F/8 – Shanson Lamb struck out 10 in seven innings of work to get the win, allowing two runs on five hits. Lamb tripled and drove in a run, Jordan Meurer was 1-4 with a RBI, Luke McKinnon was 2-4 with two runs and Zach Dillon was 2-3 with a double. 

Northfield 8 Eastbrook 0 – Shane Viger threw a one hit complete game shutout to get the win striking out six. Adam Roser was 2-3 with a RBI, Vigar homered and drove in three runs, Nate Hembree was 1-3 with a RBI, Joseph Mitchell was 1-4 with a RBI and a run, and Dylan Brown was 2-2 with a run. 

Northwestern 12 Oak Hill 8 – Tim Blankenberger was 3-4 with a double, thre RBI, and two runs, Will Harris was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Trey Richmond hit a solo homerun. Armstrong threw four innings in relief to get the win allowing one earned run, two hits, and striking out two. 

Peru 7 Mississinewa 6 F/8 – Cameron Beauchamp drew a bases loaded walk to win the game, he was 3-4 with two double, two RBI, and a run. Logan Primerano was 2-5 with a solo homerun, Michael Richardson was 4-5 with a run, and Kreighton Ray was 1-4 with two RBI. Chase Ogle threw the final four innings allowing one run on four hits while striking out four. 

Plainfield 7 Martinsville 1 – Peyton Jones was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Cooper Nichols was 2-3 with two RBI, and Jackson Blevins was 2-3 with a RBI and a run. Antonio Lucciola threw six innings to get the win allowing one run on three hits, striking out three. 

Prairie Heights 8 West Noble 1 – Kenton Helmuth was 3-5 with a RBI and two run, Chandler Sailor was 2-4 with a RBI, Chase Kiles was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Tyler Christman was 3-3 with two runs. Tanner Perkins threw a complete game allowing one run and striking out eight to get the win. 

SB Adams 14 Elkhart Central 3 – Austin Chapman was 2-2 with four RBI and a run, CJ Brewer was 2-4 with a homerun and three RBI, Spencer Nelson was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, and Matt Foulks was 3-4 with three runs. Connor Nelson got the win throwing all five innings allowing one earned, four hits, and striking out six. 

Shenandoah 8 Hagerstown 1 – Cody Rudy was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Aaron McCambridge was 2-4 with a double and three RBI, and Max McKee was 1-4 with a double and two RBI. Colin Cronk threw five shutout innings to get the win allowing three hits and striking out seven. 

Southridge 7 Princeton 1 – Jacob Brewer struck out 10 in six innings of work allowing one run on two hits. Chad Meyer was 2-4 with a homerun and three RBI, Luke Stetter was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Andrew Recker was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Payton Mattingly was 1-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run. 

Tri-Central 10 Faith Christian 1 – Zander Beckham got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on five hits while striking out seven. Cale Hindman was 2-4 with a RBI, Lake Baumiller and Caleb Duncan each went 1-3 with a RBI and two runs, and Noah Brahm had two RBI. 

Westview 11 Lakeland 5 – John Yoder was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Jake Berkey was 2-5 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Jeryl Weaver was 1-2 with a RBI and three runs, and Derrike Johns was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs. Berkey got the win throwing four innings allowing three earned runs, four hits, and striking out three. 

Woodlan 7 FW Blackhawk 4 – Colin Jones picked up the win throwing five innings allowing two earned runs, six hits, and struck out six. Austin Fancher was 1-2 with RBI and a run, Ben Schwartz had a RBI and a run, and Shawn Kitsmiller walked three times and scored three times.
