4A Tournament
 

Sectional 1:

Hammond Morton 5 Lowell 4 – Cody Earl threw a complete game allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out four. Earl was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Patrick McCormick was 2-4 with a RBI, and Brandon Andres was 1-4 with a RBI.

 

Sectional 2:

Valpo 8 Portage 6 – Alfonso Casaday got the win throwing 6.1 innings allowing four earned runs, eight hits, and struck out seven. Evan Walls was 1-2 with two RBI and two runs, Ryan Wexelberg was 1-3 with two RBI, Ellrich was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Sam Miller was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and a run.

LaPorte 13 Michigan City 1 – Jake Teets threw all five innings to get the win allowing two hits, one unearned run, and struck out seven. Travis Upp went 2-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs, Jon Williams was 2-2 with two doubles, three RBI, and three runs, and Cameren Watt went 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs.

 

Sectional 3:

Plymouth 3 SB Washington 2 F/8 – Braydon Davidson threw seven innings allowing one earned run, six hits, and struck out five. Elijah Nixon was 2-4 with a double and a RBI, Spencer Maecroft went 1-2 with a RBI, Caleb Mikesell was 1-3 with a RBI, and George Stults went 2-4 with a double and a run.

 

Sectional 5:

East Noble 5 Carroll 3 – Mason Haines got the win throwing six innings allowing three runs on five hits, striking out six. Kyle Lantz went 2-3 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Tanner Fought doubled and drove in a run, Bryce Wolfe went 2-3 with a run, and Marc Musselman had a RBI and a run.

Sectional 9:

Pendleton Heights 3 Mt Vernon 2 – Tanner Holloway got a no decision throwing five shutout innings allowing one hit and struck out five. Logan Robertson went 2-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run, Noah Etchison was 2-3 with a RBI, Jake Harris doubled and scored, and Spencer McCool was 1-3 with a run.

 

Sectional 10:

Roncalli 16 Indianapolis Tech 3 – Drew Naumovich went 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Tyler Schoettle was 3-5 with two RBI and four runs, Blake Chitwood went 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Tyler Lucas went 1-3 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs, and Zach Lamping went 1-3 with a RBI and three runs.

Perry Meridian 29 Indianapolis Northwest 3 – Kyler Fleener went 3-5 with a triple, four RBI, ad two runs, Bryce Garrity was 2-3 with two RBI and two runs, Kaleb Williams was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Evan Persons was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Mitchell Garrity doubled and drove in two, Adam Taylor was 1-2 with two RBI and five runs, and JT Gardner was 1-1 with two RBI and three runs.

 

Sectional 12:

Brownsburg 10 Avon 9 – Owen Gilbert went 4-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Jacson McGowan was 2-4 with a double and three RBI, Anthony Travelsted was 2-5 with a run, and Travis Mears went 1-2 with a RBI and two runs.

 

Sectional 13:

Center Grove 9 Greenwood 0 – Jacob Cantleberry struck out 11 in six shutout innings to get the win, allowing three hits. Devon Hensley went 3-4 with a triple, homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Josh Hart homered and drove in two, Eathan Stephen was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Joey Drury was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Nathaniel Coy went 2-3 with a run.

Floyd Central 4 Jeffersonville 0 – Kyle Beach threw five shutout innings to get the win allowing five hits and striking out five. Trey Fulton homered and drove in three runs, Brandon Smith hit a solo homerun, and Charlie Loveall was 1-1 with two runs.

New Albany 7 Jennings County 6 – Chase Rudy drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to get the win.

Wheeler 11 Calumet 0 – Sam Bolla threw six shutout innings to get the win allowing three hits and striking out eight. Jake LaFever went 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Bolla was 3-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs, Keenan Miller doubled and drove in three, Austin Whitaker and Nick Wolf each went 2-3 with a double and a RBI, and Jackson Stephens doubled and drove in two.

Yorktown 5 Hamilton Heights 2 – Cole Barr got the win throwing six innings allowing two runs on six hits, striking out five. Nathan Phillips went 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Clay Dungan went 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, Blake Upchurch was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Jake Clawson was 1-2 with a RBI.

 

Sectional 25:

Lebanon 7 North Montgomery 1 – Reid Schaller threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on one hit, striking out nine. Zack Dafoe went 3-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Jackson Bland went 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Nathan Kincaid was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Evan Stambaugh went 1-4 with two RBI.

 

Sectional 26:

New Pal 15 Herron 0 – Keegan Watson went 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Wes McBride went 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two run, Andy Edwards tripled and drove in three runs, Cody Chandler was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, and Caleb Vanderwal was 1-2 with three runs. Hogan Fulkerson got the win throwing three innings allowing one hit and striking out six.

 

Sectional 28:

West Vigo 3 Northview 2 F/9 – Zach Edwards hit a walk off single to advance West Vigo. Davie Inman threw all nine innings to get the win, striking out 13 and allowing one earned run.

Silver Creek 8 Charlestown 4 – Cody Razer went 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs, Brahm Whittinghill doubled and drove in a run, Cameron Cook went 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Sam Hartsock was 1-3 with a RBI, and Sammy Barnett went 2-4 with a run. Logan Murphy got the win in relief throwing four shutout innings allowing two hits.

Sectional 31:

Jasper 2 Heritage Hills 1 – Cal Kruger got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on three hits, striking out seven. Tyler Begle was 2-3 with a RBI, Craig Shepherd had a RBI, Evan Aders was 2-3, and Ben Moore doubled and scored.

 

Sectional 32:

Boonville 16 Evansville Bosse 0

Mt. Vernon 2 Princeton 0 – Brian Hensley struck out 10 in six shutout innings to get the win, allowing two hits. Cody Mobley got the save striking out all three batters he faced in the seventh. Bryce Krizan went 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Austin Krizan was 1-3 with a RBI, and JD Collins went 1-2. 

 

2A Tournament 

Sectional 33:

Boone Grove 18 Lake Station 1 – Jeff Birchfield went 3-3 with a triple, two RBI, and three runs, Buddy Boatwright was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and three runs, and David Sorrell doubled and drove in three runs. Chuck Kidd got the win throwing four innings allowing one run on one hit, striking out four.

 

Sectional 35:

Bremen 14 LaVille 3 – Brett Louderback had a big game going 5-5 with three doubles, three RBI, and three runs, Drew Coffel homered and drove in three, Bryce Cassel was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Jacob Strehler was 3-4 with a double, triple, two RBI, and two runs, and Andrew Cullers was 2-5 with two RBI. Cassel got the win throwing five innings allowing two runs on six hits, striking out six.

Fremont 2 Central Noble 1 – Nate Midtgard threw a complete game to get the win allowing one hit, one unearned run, and struck out four. Midtgard went 2-3 with a run, Bryce Thomas had a RBI, and Jordan Rode doubled.

Clinton Central 10 South Vermillion 8 – Brandon Eimen went 3-4 with two runs, Will Schultz was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Jake Burton was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Joe Douglass was 1-4 with two RBI, and Camden Pavey was 1-3 with two RBI and a run. Curtis Smith, Jordan Clark, ad Brendan Smith each went 1-3 with a RBI and a run.

Seeger 13 Riverton Parke 10 – Josh Orahood went 2-2 with two solo homeruns and four runs, Cole Blessing was 2-5 with a RBI and two runs, Adam Peterson homered and drove in three, Cal Stover was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Chandler White doubled and drove in two runs.

Sectional 40:

Lapel 7 Frankton 1 – Brady Cherry threw a complete game allowing three hits, no earned runs, and struck out eight. Nolan Clark and Cherry each homered and drove in two runs, Cade Luker doubled and drove in two runs, John Magers was 2-3 with a RBI, and Todd Sherwood was 1-2 with two runs.

Muncie Burris 12 Winchester 4 – Austin Appelgate went 3-3 with a double, triple, four RBI, and two runs, Matt Armstrong went 2-4 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs, Nathan Grzesiek was 2-4 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, and Josh Monroe was 1-2 with a RBI and a run. Owen Crum got the win throwing six innings allowing two earned runs, four hits, and struck out seven.

Union County 10 Eastern Hancock 2 – Mason Miller went 2-3 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Caleb Greene homered and drove in two runs, Bryce Fields was 2-5 with a double, homerun, and two runs, Cam Donovan was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Jake Stout was 2-4 with a double and two RBI. Justin Philpot threw a complete game allowing two runs on four hits, striking out six.

Triton Central 24 Indianapolis Washington 2

 

Sectional 45:

North Decatur 5 Switzerland County 4 – Donovan Meyer went 3-3 with a RBI and two runs, Austin Brown was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Seth Gauck was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Cory Fasbinder was 3-3 with a double and a run, and Tyler Baur was 1-3 with a RBI. Luke Perdue threw a complete game allowing three earned runs and striking out four.

Providence 13 Paoli 1 – Providence scored 10 runs in the first innings on the way to the win.

Clarksville 3 Crawford County 1 – Justin Lind threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on three hits, striking out four. Lind also homered in the sixth to break the tie.

 

Sectional 47:

Sullivan 7 North Knox 2 – Jarrad Klitz struck out 12 throwing a complete game to get the win allowing two runs on four hits. Sheridan Sater went 2-4 with two triples, a RBI, and two runs, Cody Turner was 1-3 with two RBI, and Evan Conner tripled and scored.

Eastern Greene 9 North Central 3

 

Sectional 48:

South Spencer 10 North Posey 0 – Kobe Stephens went 3-3 with a double, triple, two RBI, and two runs, Taylor Market was 1-1 with three RBI, Sammy Rowan was 1-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run, and Zeth Young was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs. Jon Michael Stallings got the win throwing all five innings allowing six hits and striking out four.

Tell City 5 Perry Central 3 – Spencer Doem went 2-3 with a solo homerun and two runs, Nick Smith went 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Jarrett Hawhee went 1-3 with a RBI, and Reed Goffinet as 1-3 with a double and a run. Goffinet got the win striking out 11 in 4.2 innings allowing one hit and one unearned run.

Sectional 49:

Kouts 4 Covenant Christian 1 – Will Ward got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on three hits, striking out eight. Jake Hamann went 2-2 with a double and two RBI and Trevor McCormick went 2-3 with a double and a run.

 

Sectional 50:

South Newton 6 Tri-County 2 – Neil Geswein led the offense going 3-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Asael Nunez went 1-2 with two RBI, and Aaron Hooks was 2-2. Skylar Sanders threw a complete game to get the win allowing two runs on five hits, striking out six.

Faith Christian 7 Rossville 5 – Derrick Grass allowed one earned run in a complete game win giving up six hits and striking out seven. Braxton Prather went 1-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Brennan Argo was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Nick Borga was 1-4 with a RBI, and Alec Argo was 2-3 with a run.

 

Sectional 55:

Daleville 11 Southern Wells 3 – Brandon Vermillion had a big game going 3-4 with two homeruns, five RBI, and three runs, TJ Price went 3-4 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Corbin Maddox went 2-4 with a homerun and two RBI, and Chris Kinnick was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs. Vermillion got the win throwing four innings allowing three runs and striking out three.

Clay City 12 White River Valley 4 F/11 – Clay City broke open the game with a eight run top of the 11th to get the win. Booe went 4-6 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Hunter Wolfe went 3-5 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Stevenson was 3-6 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Hyatt doubled and drove in two runs.

Sectional 60:

Jac-Cen-Del 11 South Decatur 1 – Chris Stephens went 2-3 with three RBI and a run, Ethan Adams and Allen Troy each went 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Keith Simon was 1-2 with two RBI and two runs, and Tyler Huff was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs. Huff got the win throwing five shutout innings allowing one run on one hit, striking out six.

Orleans 24 Crothersville 0 – Cale Hall struck out 12 in a five inning no hitter to get the win, allowing just one walk. Andrew Robinson went 2-3 with a homerun, four RBI, and three runs, Dylam Clem was 2-3 with four RBI and a run, Chase Hall was 3-4 with two RBI and two runs, Steven Phillips was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and three runs, and Jason Mooson was 2-3 with a triple, two RBI, and four runs.

 

Sectional 62:

Borden 3 Lanesville 2 – Kruer threw a complete game to get the win allowing two runs on five hits, striking out eight. McNew homered and drove in three runs and Hart was 3-4 with a run scored.
