By Phil Wade

Indiana Executive Director

Last week the top 25 overall 2017 rankings were released highlighting the top sophomores in the Prep Baseball Report coverage area.  The Hoosier state has four representatives in the top 25; No. 9 Brian Gursky, No. 12 Elijah Dunham, No. 14 Roy Thurman and No. 15 Zach Britton.

Today, we unveil Indiana's top 10 class of 2017 rankings and like most years pitchers dominate the top 10.

1. Brian Gursky, LHP, St. Joseph HS:  PBR National Supervisor Nathan Rode first saw Gursky at Team USA’s 15U Trials in 2013, pitching with an 84-86 fastball with some sink to his arm side.

2. Elijah Dunham, OF, Evansville Reitz HS:  The 6-foot-1, 200 pound athlete was the first player to commit in the class (Indiana University).  He's an athletic player with a projectable frame, speed and strength.
