Noah Burkholder is a 6-foot-4, 180 pound righty out of Crown Point HS.  Burkholder came to a PBR Indiana Showcase a little over a year ago, and was the biggest surprise of the event showing an advanced feel on the mound as a freshman.  He continues to be one of the hottest names in a class that is full of great arms.

At the event he attended last year he was topping out at 82 mph.  We continued to follow him throughout this past spring where he was up to 84 mph and had cleaned up mechanically on the mound.  His arm continued to get stronger this summer and throughout the fall, and recently has been up to 88 mph.  Burkholder is a top 5 arm in the state of Indiana, and is one of the most projectable pitchers in the Midwest. 

Burkholder’s name has been thrown around by many recruiters throughout the fall and we should expect that to continue. He can easily become one of the most sought out arms in the country.
