The annual Preseason All-State showcase is coming up on February 20th at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis. The invitation only event will feature many of the top juniors from across the state.

Scouting Report: This will be the first Prep Baseball Report event for Long.  The right-hander possesses a strong frame at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds.  This summer playing for Knights baseball out of Tennessee he ran the fastball up to 86, sitting in the 82-86 range.  His off-speed which includes a breaking ball and changeup are in the mid-to-upper 70's.  He committed to the Hoosiers this past summer after going 5-0 with a 2.91 ERA and 44Ks in just over 38IP for Bedford North Lawrence.
