The left-handed swinging middle infielder possesses athletic actions defensively and offensively consistently barrels up the baseball.

PBR: Ultimately, why did you choose Indiana State?

Dungan: I chose Indiana State because I could see that the program was moving forward, the coaching staff has a good background and the simple fact that it is closer to home than my other options I had.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Dungan: The only other school I was heavily considering was Morehead State.

PBR: Where did ISU first see you compete and when did you take your first visit?

Dungan: ISU first saw me play last summer. I haven't taken a visit to campus; I am doing that coming up this week. However,  I have been on campus for a camp that they put on where they further evaluated me.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?

Dungan: The coaches expect me to play a role as a kid who is going to battle for a spot in the infield, Not sure where that will be yet, I will have to earn my spot.

PBR: What were your expectations in regards to the whole recruiting process?

Dungan: My expectations in the whole recruiting process was finding a school that really wants me in their program. I could see that the ISU coaches wanted me on their team and were straight forward with me throughout the whole recruiting process.

PBR: You are now the sixth player ranked in top 50 for Indiana's 2015 class, did any of those other players have any influence on you committing to ISU?

Dungan: I am good friends with some of the 2014 and 2015 commits to ISU and they did play a factor in my decision because it would be fun to play next to guys I have played with in travel ball.

PBR: You play for the Prospects during the summer, talk about your experience playing for them.

Dungan: Playing with the prospects has made me a better baseball player all around because we go to all of the top tournaments in the country and get to play in front of countless colleges. Shane Stout helped me out greatly with getting feedback from coaches and helping me narrow down schools.

PBR: What were your stats this spring at Yorktown?

Dungan: I hit .390 with 25 RBI, 11 2B, 3 3B and 2 HR.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher you’ve faced in Indiana?

Dungan: The toughest pitcher I faced this year is also a Indiana Prospect and a ISU commit Ethan Larrison.
