Connor ChristmanConnor Christman, a 6-foot-2, 190 pound 3B/C out of Noblesville HS, recently committed to Butler University and Head Coach Steve Farley where he will once again have the opportunity to play with his older brother Garrett Christman, now a Bulldogs freshman.  Both Connor and Garrett helped lead the Millers to a 4A State Championship last spring.

PBR: Ultimately, what made Butler the right fit for you?

Christman: I chose Butler because I felt that they gave me what I need both academically and on the field. I also felt that it would be fun to play with my brother again.

PBR: When did Butler first see you compete?

Christman: About 2 years ago.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play when you arrive on campus?

Christman: The coaches expect me to contribute and compete for a starting position both at catcher or third base.

PBR: Were there other schools you were considering?

Christman: Dallas Baptist, Xavier, Western Michigan, Kansas

PBR: You played for Team Indiana at this year's Future Games, talk about your experience playing in that event.

Christman: Playing for team Indiana was a great experience as I got to meet and play with many good players in Indiana.

PBR: You play for the Mustangs in the summer and the Giants Scout Team in the fall, how has playing with those teams helped you develop as a baseball player?

Christman: Playing for the Indiana Mustangs and Giants Scout Team have given me the opportunity to get better and to play against the best competition. Our coaches have given us the best exposure to be seen by scouts.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Christman: Both my mom and dad have had the biggest impact on me. They both support me by taking me to my games and events and they both help me strive to be the best player I can be.

PBR: You were sophomore on last year's 4A state championship team, what was that experience like?

Christman: It was an unbelievable  experience playing with my teammates in front of so many people. The journey through all of the games and tough situations were fun and exciting especially playing along side my older brother.

PBR: What are you goals both personally and as a team this spring at Noblesville?

Christman: As a team our goal is to win the HCC again and hopefully make another run in the playoffs. My personal goal is to make all conference.

PBR: What were your stats last spring at Noblesville?

Christman: I batted .293 with 22 RBI.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher you've faced in Indiana?

Christman: Grant Inman
