Rogers’ versatility was evident when he was a junior as he played nearly every position, including pitcher. He has since settled into being a two-way player, manning the hot corner when he’s not pitching. He can pitch in the upper 80s and has touched 90 or better on a few occasions. His arm strength plays at third base and he has a simple approach at the plate, showing bat speed and squaring balls consistently.
