Outlook:  The Greyhounds head into 2017 ranked #1 under new head coach Matt Buczkowski.  Carmel's roster is loaded with college commitments including 3 starting pitchers.  Coach Buczkowski expects his seniors to lead this talented group and play their game despite having a target on their backs.  The lineup has talent too, including Rhett Wintner (Ball State), Parker Massman (Miami OH), Jack Van Remortel (Michigan), Justin Greene (Gulf Coast JC), Colin Donahue (Depauw), and JC Hanley (Stevens Institute of Tech).  Between the MIC and one of the most competitve sectionals in the state, they Greyhounds will have their work cut out for them, but are the early favorites to reach Victory Field this June.
