Collett helped lead Terre Haute North to a class 4A state runner-up finish and was also named first team All-State. The Kentucky commit is ranked No. 1 in Indiana's class of 2016 player rankings and No. 3 in PBR's overall class of 2016 rankings.

SCOUTING REPORT

Collett has a big, strong frame at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds and it shows up at the plate. The LHH takes a good, easy swing that produces raw power to all fields. Plus bat speed. Handles velocity very well. Collett isn’t a lock to stay behind the plate, but he has shown improvements back there. He is verbally committed to Kentucky.
