On Sunday, October 19th PBR Indiana hosted the Unsigned Senior Games at Grand Park in Westfield, IN. A total of 54 players participated in the event, including two from Illinois and one from Tennessee. Below we analyze the outfielders that participated in the event. 

Top Ranked Outfielder 

Braden Giroux, OF, McCutcheon HS, 2015: 6-foot, 170 pound senior is a left handed outfielder with good athleticism.  Possesses athletic actios with soft hands, fluid feet and clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball with athleticism.  Very aggressive defender.  Showcased an accurate arm at 83 mph with carry.  Ran a 7.07-60.  Offensively from the left side of the plate starts in an athletic setup.  Loads back using a short stride.  Showcased a quick bat with a good approach to the ball.  Swing plane is level and gets to extension regularly.  Possesses gap power with fluid rhythm throughout.  Registered an exit velo of 88 mph.   Was a member of Team Indiana at the 2013 Future Games.  

Best of the Rest (In Alphabetical Order) 

Brooks Baily, OF, Hauser HS, 2015: 5-foot-11, 160 pound senior was 76 from the outfield from a long arm action and high ¾ slot.  Showcased accurate throws with average hands and fluid feet.  Exchange is clean and plays through the baseball well.  Ran a 7.33-60.  At the plate starts open.  Hands tend to drop during the load.  Stride is short with average use of the lower half.  Showcased good balance.  Bat speed is average.  Showcased some pull-side power with fluid rhythm throughout his swing.  Registered an exit velo of 75 mph. 

Mason Bruce, OF, McCutcheon HS, 2015: 5-foot-10, 170 pound senior was 84 from the outfield.  Uses a long arm action and ¾ slot and good accuracy.  Plays through the baseball well with a clean exchange.  Lacks elite speed.  Projects more as a 3B.  Offensively, hits from an athletic setup with a slightly open front foot.  Smooth load, hands drop occasionally.  Stride is short with good balance throughout.  Bat speed is avarege with a level plane.  Line drive hitter with gap potential.  Registered an exit velo of 81 mph.  

Sean Casey, OF, Chatard HS, 2015: 6-foot-2, 180 pound senior was 83 from the outfield using a long arm action and ¾ slot.  Throws were accurate.  Showcased average hands defensively with a clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball well.  Lacks elite speed.  Ran a 7.34-60.  At the plate starts balanced and loads back.  Short stride with good overall balance.  Showcased average bat speed with a slightly uphill path.  Fluid rhythm throughout the swing.  Up the middle approach with some pop.   

Henry Fisher, OF, Benton Central HS, 2015: 6-foot-3, 180 pound senior was 83 from the outfield from a long arm action and high ¾ slot.  Showcased carry on his throws.  Possesses average hands with a quick, clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball well.  Ran a 7.00-60.  Offensively, starts  balanced with a smooth load.  Toe tap for timing.  Strides short.  Bat speed is above average with a long, level path to the baseball.  Shows gap to gap potential with good rhythm.  Registered an exit velo of 91 mph.  

Adam Iffert, OF, Brebeuf HS, 2015: 5-foot-10, 165 pound senior possesses an athletic frame.  From the outfield was 80 mph from a long arm action and high ¾ slot.  Showcased good hands defensively with fluid feet and a clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball with athleticism.  Ran a 6.77-60.  Offensively, starts balanced and loads back.  Uses a short stride with average use of the lower half.  Showcased some bat speed and gets to extension.  Line drive type hitter.  Registered an exit velo of 82 mph.   

Ty Mattix, OF, North White HS, 2015: 5-foot-10, 150 pound senior was 71 from the outfield.  The left hander uses a long arm action and displayed good accuracy.  Showcased fluid feet in the field.  At the plate starts balanced.  Stride is short and has a tendency to dive.  Lacks use of the lower half.  Bat path is long.  Finishes one handed.  Registered an exit velo of 73 mph and ran a 7.19-60. 

Addison Robertson, OF, Lutheran HS, 2015: 6-foot, 170 pound athletic senior with a strong build.  From the outfield was 79 mph from a long arm action and ¾ slot.  Good accuracy with average hands and quick, fluid feet.  Plays through the baseball with a clean exchange.  Ran a 6.80-60.  Offensively, starts balanced with wide feet.  Smooth load and uses a short stride.  Gets to extension producing hard hit line drives.  Overall fluid rhythm .  Registered an exit velo of 83 mph.  

Sean Roginski, OF, McCutcheon HS, 2015: 5-foot-9, 170 pound senior was 86 from the outfield with carry.  Possesses quick, fluid feet with athletic actions.  Ran a 7.20-60.  At the plate starts in an athletic setup.  Loads back and uses a short stride.  Average use of the lower half.  Bat speed is average.  Hard contact hitter with gap to gap potential.  Fluid rhythm throughout the swing.  Registered an exit velo of 82 mph.  

Dylan Schildknecht, OF, Carmel HS, 2015: 6-foot, 165 pound senior is a left handed thrower tha was 80 from the outfield from a long arm action and high ¾ slot.  Hands are average with fluid feet.  Exchange is clean.  Needs to play through the baseball more.  Ran a 6.90-60.  Offensively, starts balanced.  Hands tend to drop during the load.  Uses a short stride with good balance throughout.  Bat speed is average.  Short, level path to the baseball.  Registered an exit velo of 78 mph.   

A.J. Taylor, OF, Covenant Christian HS, 2015: 5-foot-10, 160 pound senior was 75 from the outfield.  Arm action is long and throws from a high ¾ slot with accuracy.  Showcased good hands defensively with a clean transfer.  Displays quick, fluid feet and plays through the baseball with some athleticism.  Ran 7.12-60.   Offensively, starts blanced and uses a slight leg lift for timing.  Stride is short.  Minimal load back with average bat speed.  Swing path is short and slightly uphill.  Hard contact hitter produces line drives.  Registered an exit velo of 74 mph.  

Brandon Taylor, OF, Terre Haute North HS, 2015: 5-foot-7, 155 pound senior  is a left handed thrower that was 80 from the outfield.  Arm action is long and uses a high ¾ slot.  Accurate thrower.  Lacks elite foot speed.  Exchange is clean with good hands.  Plays through the baseball well.  Ran a 7.31-60.  At the plate hits from the right side in a balanced setup.  Loads back.  Dives to the ball during the stride.  Possesses above average bat speed.  Swing plane is uphill.  Line drive hitter.  Tends to roll over.  Registered an exit velo of 82 mph.  

 Pete Wissel, OF, Blue River Valley HS, 2015: 6-foot-1, 170 pound senior possesses an athletic frame with a strong lower half.  Displayed arm strength at 90 mph from the outfield.  Arm speed is quick.  Plays on his heels instead of playing through the baseball.  Ran a 7.16-60.  Offensively, starts balanced and open.  Hands drop during the load.  Stride is long.  Swing is long with a slightly uphill path.  Barreled up the baseball consistently.  Registered an exit velo of 87 mph.
